This is a FANTASTIC light.
I have and have used dozens of LED flashlights. This is the most versatile single light I have ever used. Smooth variable light control is extremely useful in the real world in which paint-peeling brightness isn't always the best answer. I have a half dozen or so LED flashlights, 1000 lumens, strobes, tactical, weapons mounted, etc., and this Eiger AAA Flashlight will be more useful than all the rest.I am probably going to buy a second as a backup, something I have only done twice before on 50 years of serious flashlight use. Maybe even a third, a back-up to the backup...A truly great light of any size.

Amazing company, terrific lights and American made
I purchased 2 peak eigers years ago, 1 aluminum and 1 stainless steel. Both ordered with tail switches so that you could push the button and the light would come on. The qtc takes some getting used to but once acclimated, there are a lot of advantages such as simplicity, durability and ability to select any brightness level. If you put a rechargeable aaa or a 3.7v, it gets very bright and the color is excellent, not the eerie blue you so often see with other lights. In any event, I sadly lost my aluminum one and my stainless steel stopped working after a number of years. I thought the led may have burnt out so I contacted Peak to order another head. Instead I was told to send the light in. Paid 4 bucks in postage and got the light back very quickly via priority mail within the week. Peak fixed the light, even replacing the inner bezel which had popped off when I dropped it on concrete awhile back. Did not affect function at all afterward and was hardly noticeable. They even sent me the light with a fresh battery. I guess there was corrosion in there, likely from the cheap alkalines I would put in the light.I dealt directly with Robyn, the president of the company. Cant say how impressed by the service and how they stand by their lights. Doesn't get any better than that. Will be purchasing another aluminum very soon but this time will probably go with the ultra x head that has 2x the throw. This is a great light and a great company. Stainless is the most durable but a little heavier than the aluminum which I think is better for carry. At 2.3oz or so with a battery inside, the stainless is still light however.Thank you Peak LED for being a great company. Really great supporting American manufacturing as well.
