KWGE25RG (WS03X10038) ORings Compatible with GE ™ 2.5 Inch Water Filters GXWH01C, CXWH08C, GXWH04F, GXWH20F, GXWH20S, GXRM10 & GX1S01R (6 Pack)

These Kinetic Wares KWGE25RG ORings are a good fit for my GE GXWH01C under sink filter housings.The cross section appearance of the rings is thin but that is misleading. An old o-ring does appear fatter until it is pulled out of the filter housing. The old o-ring can be seen to be flatter and thinner having been pressed into shape by the tightened housing. There was no leakage from the new KWGE25RG o-rings.Kinetic Wares does not include o-ring lubricant but few products do. I have over a dozen water valves and filters in my house that need cleaned and lubricated annually. I use a "waterproof" axle grease on the brass metal to metal parts and a silicone o-ring lubricant on the rubber surfaces so I keep a couple ounces of both on hand. I'll update this rating on sturdiness next year.

These rings work just as intended. My last O- ring lasted for 3 filter changes. So if you don’t crimp the O-ring you might be able to reuse but the price is low enough you could just replace it every filter change.

Fits better than the previous o ring which was purchased locally. Great price and 6 should last us a long time.

Unfortunately, the return window passed--these do not fit my GE Whole House water filter body. The diameter was too large. This is a legacy model, I was better off getting it from Home Depot.

Fit the groove of the water filter canister properly, no leaks.Be prepared, don't get caught without extras.

The resealable packaging looks old and previously opened.There were only 5 o rings, not the 6 advertised.Suspect this is returned stock being resold.
