Easy to follow, lost 4 pounds on the Detox Plan, Yay!!!!
Love this book, easy to follow and easy to make changes to my diet and clean eating plan. The recipes are great, love the carrot and leek soup, my favorite!!! My husband and I followed the detox plan, which was not difficult to do. We thought we would try the detox plan for 3 days but we liked it so much we stayed on it for 5 days. We each lost about 4 pounds. We will continue to use the detox plan throughout the year, will probably do it every three months or so. It made us feels so much better! Her easy to read
Losing the sugar out of our diet is just part of Karen Calandra's sensible eating plan, on the road to a healthy life. She not only outlines the many benefits of the resulting weight loss, but the chain reaction of positive outcomes to blood sugar levels, blood pressure and skin issues is proof it works! Her easy to read, one step at a time plan, helps curb cravings and guides one along the way. I especially enjoyed reading about Karen's personal journey to her own healthy lifestyle. Her message about real food (with recipes) versus processed products is inspirational and one more people of our Nation needs to hear and follow!

I have had a huge sugar addiction for years. Although I work out 3-5 days a week, I gained weight and couldn't take it off and keep it off. This book made me think about the food I was putting in my temple. During the three day cleanse I lost 3.4 pounds. I didn'texercise during that time. The author is encouraging and not only gives you practical instruction but encourages you. It's like you can almost here her saying, "Hey, you can do this. " I highly recommend this book and have already prayed for your success. Peace.

Great read friends
Karen offers a very practical and doable approach to taking control of your health and food choices. Her humility and transparency with the struggles she endured over the years, helps the reader feel a connection....diets, poor/emotional eating habits and excuses for lack of exercise. Karen's teaching is by making some immediate, healthy changes in your diet, results are sure to happen. With determination and a commitment to a healthy lifestyle change, Karen is quick to give God the honor and glory for who He is and what He has done in her life. Great read friends!

A must read to feel better and get control over your sugar cravings!
As a health coach myself I love using this book with my clients and sugar cleanse groups. So informative, easy to understand and follow. Cutting sugar from your diet will help you feel better on so many levels. This book will help you understand why sugar is affecting you and the steps to eliminate it from your diet. There are so many other, more natural choices to calm your sweet tooth that aren't so detrimental to your health.

Real Food = Real Health!
As a health coach too, I always read books like this as if I were a client. I really liked the conversational way the book is written, and don't disagree with any of the advice! That itself is surprising, with all the different "diets" around. Karen, like me, thinks that we can be healthy and eat really good food if we spend a little time thinking about it-and then just do it! Real Food + Real Health

How to improve your health by avoiding sugar!
I ordered this book on a Monday, received it 2 days later (thanks to PRIME), had it read by Friday and took it with me on my next trip to the grocery store. It is filled with valuable information that can improve your health by avoiding sugar. It is an easy read and teaches you how to change your shopping habits and eating habits very quickly. I highly recommend it!
