Bought it to make my own mixes for use at home. Outer bag a little dirty but no impact on product which is of excellent quality. Much more cost effective way of buying bath salts which ease an auto immune condition and aches and pains. Will be buying again once I’ve eventually finished the giant bag!

After reading ‘Cure your arthritis naturally ‘ by Nurse Sue Hill many years ago I started taking Epsom Salts baths which really clear the inflammation, acting as a general detoxifier and so the pain goes away. But recently I’ve noticed that the back of my neck and scalp felt sore and itchy after the Epsom soaks. So I’ve changed to these Magnesium flakes. They work just as well,if not better than Epsom salts and are a good price buying in this quantity. It’s easy to store in a smaller container near the bath. It also leaves your skin lovely and silky as a bonus.In her book, Sue Hill (who suffered from such crippling arthritis that she was told she’d never have children- she did however have 2-3 children with no problems), says it’s best to soak between 12-15 minutes minimum in water as hot as you can tolerate safely. Try and move your limbs, shoulders, fingers etc while in the water to help dislodge the crystals that form in the joints and cause the pain. Then once out of the bath, wrap up immediately in warm towels and get into a warm bed( one you’re not going to sleep in that night) and stay totally covered to the chin. This causes copious sweating, so a sort of sauna effect, opens all the pores nd excites many toxins. Try and aim for 20-30 minutes but a minimum of 15 with arms etc under the clothes so the body doesn’t cool down. Then dry yourself off and get into your usual bed. The previous bed and the towels should be pretty damp if you stayed hot. The next morning you should notice quite a relief from pain in your joints. She suggested a maximum of 2-3 times a week, preferably before going to bed as it’s also very relaxing. Your body absorbs extra vital magnesium which is needed for o er 300 important bodily functions including the heart and circulation, muscles and muscle cramps, digestion, brain function, calcium absorption etc.Also, if you feel you might be going down with a cold, a hot magnesium bath often helps you sweat it out before it can take hold.Magnesium is also very soothing and calming and can help reduce anxiety and it’s debilitating symptoms, especially as we get past 40 and the body can’t retain it so well. Many people seem to think Magnesium is just for when you’ve got indigestion or are constipated, but it helps so many other functions. If you notice you have small facial tics, night cramps, tingling in your limbs etc increasing your magnesium through magnesium baths or oral supplements will probably help clear them. I shall certainly buy this again.

This is a superb product for all sports people experiencing muscular or joint aches and pains. Added to bath water it is soothing and relaxing and helps to remove toxins. This large sack is very good value for regular users . Would definitely recommend.

Great Product
If you are feeling unwell or suffering from muscle aches have a long hot soak in a bath with a pint of salts but put the salts into the water just before you get in the bath. If you have a body brush or a loafer open the pores of the skin to help the minerals being absorbs. Do not wash the salt of your body as it carries on penetrating into your skin.If you have space to store this 26kg bag it works out cheaper.

Amazing product .
I put 10 cups of it per bath and spend 2 hoursIn the bath in the evening. It absorbs all the toxins from my body making me feel so light next day . Skin and muscles feel so different . Skin is smooth and muscles are plump .
