We needed another cage for a new guinea pig addition and wanted to give this one a try thanks to price and sizing.Pros: - very, very large - simple to assemble - can adjust cage a bit as desired - pretty easy to cleanCons: - soft bottom does take a little more work to remove for cleaningI was looking for a large cage for a cheaper price, and this one does a pretty good job on both fronts. The system comes with cage pieces, a hammer, corner/side holders and a plasticy cloth base. There are two doors, which made this great for us, since we have the cage sitting adjacent to a larger play area (we have another set of guinea pigs on the other end in a large cage and can this way, keep an eye on their interactions and such).This cage was easy to put together...but then, I've built a cabinet out of a similar system before. I especially like that fact that this can be changed as needed. For example, we've only put half the top on, leaving the other half open for easy care and interaction purposes. It's still more than sturdy enough for the guinea pig and all the accessories which are hung on the sides.The only thing which I'm going to be paying closer attention to is the bottom. It's not a hard one but rather made of a plastic cloth which is velcroed to the cage sides. This does go up a couple inches around each side, keep thing 'mess' in the cage fairly well (guinea pigs tend to strew their mess). It also has not yet shown any signs of leakage when the water bottle spills or, again, thanks to guinea pig messes. But I've also placed an extra layer of thicker plastic underneath the cage just in case.Cleaning is a bit of a pain, but not really much worse than the robust plastic bottoms. It just takes a little more time to unvelcro the straps and a little more care not to spill anything when lifting it out of the cage.If I need another cage in the future, I'll definitely be taking a look at these again.

I just received and assembled the cage. The cage itself is easy to assemble. This is a fairly large cage. 4ft x 2ft x 2 ft I purchased this for my Guinea pig and it's perfect. She has plenty of room to play and have her litter box, igloo and hammock etc. I will say I love the bottom to this cage! It fits inside and velcroes together. One downside was 3 tabs I couldn't connect with the Velcro because I had the same side so they wouldn't stick. Quick fix...I zip tied them! Worked great. Easier than returning. Plus this bottom is well made vinyl. Very easy to remove and clean or spot clean. *concern. If you have cats or dogs that are shredders, chewers etc this bottom will not stand a chance for the more destructive type 😔 In regard to price ...well it is an amazing value for the price! I literally ran to petsmart to pick up a few things and was shocked at the difference in size ...not quality of the cages. I was even more please with my choice! Pro: Great size for one smaller sized rabbit, Fabric Mat is easy to clean and drys fast, price was goodCon: Edges are very sharp ( we had to cover with fabric), bottom Mat is not sturdy ( rabbit is chews it), cage doors are small and way too easy to open ( hard to get anything in through the doors and the rabbit figured out how easy the doors are to open)So as seen in the picture we took off one side of the top to cage for easier cleaning accessibility. Instead of having to take the entire cage off the mat. We also had to buy a lock so the rabbit cannot get out when we are not home

This is a nice large cage, however the liner is very flimsy and my rabbit chewed it to pieces within a month and she is out of her cage all day, only in at night. I have requested if a replacement liner can be ordered, however have had no response from Songmics Direct.

I have been using this cage for about a month now and felt the need to write a review. It is a great cage for rabbits when used correctly. It can be broken down for easy storage/traveling, and it can be assembled in minutes without any tools. Initial assembly was rough but I got the hang of it.I bought it because it seemed perfect for my situation - I’m a renter and move around a lot, and the space I have is quite small. I also wanted something that could easily be rinsed in the shower if needed. I am using it as a home-base for my bunnies because it is not large enough to be a full-time habitat, especially for two rabbits. They have a large litter box, all their food, and some toys in the cage. They also have a small playpen attached. They stay in this setup when I’m asleep or not home - otherwise they’re free in the apartment. I would not recommend this (or any) cage for a rabbit’s full-time home but it is great to keep their mess contained if you have bunnies occupying a shared space with you. I would definitely recommend it for this.

This pen is spacious but not easy to clean and tears. Our bunnies chewed the material up and it’s dropping got out of the cage onto the floor. Very much a pain and had to order a new cage. Would not recommend unless going to use it as an outside pen with the bottom. Also, the bars are not sturdy. Sides keep coming apart and one side cracked.

This cage is great! We use it for our 2 guinea pigs and it gives them plenty of space to run and have toys but not feel cramped. It was especially handy when we got our second one. We wanted to introduce them slowly, so we put one of the top cage parts in the middle to make 2 separate spaces for them (we have ours open on top because it’s tall enough that they won’t escape, and it’s plenty sturdy without the top parts in place), and it worked perfectly for them to get to know each other but have their own space. Now we have them together with no divider and they’re best buddies!

Wow, for once I am blown away by a product I purchased on amazon. It is a nice big cage and for the $40.00 I payed for it is quite the bargain. It was so easy to put together and the Guinea pig loves it! He can take a leap without ending up on the wrong side of the cage. This cage gives my guinea pig the full 8ft required for the animal. The plastic lined canvas is wonderful to keep Mr guinea clean-I use towels on top of bedding and cleanup is a breeze.
