Situ Lighting: Cordless and Rechargeable LED Art and Picture Light - Rechargeable Micro Series - 3000K - USA Made

I wanted special lighting for special art and Situ's 8" mini met every requirement: LED, rechargable, easy to install and unobtrusive. I've had inexpensive brass plated battery operated lights that are difficult to mount and service and was looking for a final solution to the hassles that always result: installation, dead batteries and bulbs and the inevitable deteoriation of the finish. Situ eliminated all these problems. The lights are precision high quality construction, requires no screws are easily removed for charging. My first unit arrived with a defective charger and was immediately replaced. My second order was a last minute Christmas decision I didn't expect to receive in time but arrived 2 days after ordered and with 4 days to spare. The attached photos are identical lights on significantly different sized frames. The lights are slightly adjustable to accommodate a variety of sizes and shapes. I like precision and the heft of these lights exude quality. Not inexpensive but museum quality for special art.

This small and elegantly designed cordless picture light is almost a work of art itself. Three intensities of illumination. The thickness of my picture frame did not allow the lamp to rest securely on the top of frame, but I solved that easily by making a small bracket (see second photo of frame’s back). Highest recommendation (although price is high, which may deter some buyers).

Simple and elegant. I bought two and can easily move them around the house as my mood desires. I might buy more! Super satisfied.

Very well built. Quality product. A bit expensive - it cost almost as much as the painting:-), but I don’t mind paying for a quality product that will last a long time and can use to hi-light different paintings in my house. Only thing I wish ( which was mentioned in other reviews is that it had a remote and the neck/ extension was adjustable because it sticks out far from the wall and my picture is only a 4X6, so it is on the long side but I couldn’t find a shorter length extension from the wall.

This small picture light provides the option of choosing just the right amount of light to enhance your art work. It’s size is not a visual distraction, and it is a snap to install. Excellent quality. Arrived on time in very protective packaging. I am so happy with this purchase. Just what I have been looking for.

We bought this several years ago and it is still working fine. It makes a considerable statement when you walk into the room.

I can’t determine how the light comes on and off -on it’s on. How do I schedule the operation. ?I turn it in and it is supposed to burn for five hours. It would be nice if it came on at the same time each evening.

I have never given such a glowing (no pun intended)review. The brightness and quality is awesome. I haven't tested the battery life yet but with the recharger it should not be a problem. Well worth the money. I bought two just to test them. Went back and bought several more.
