Yet another well priced purchase that turned out to be far better quality than expected.

These are super. I only use one mitt as a rule but sometimes, when things are heavier I need to grab a teatowel for the other hand and will no longer need to. The BEST thing about these are the size. I have added a photo in comparison to my old, battered and burnt one. They're way closer in size to my hands so feel way better to use in the first place and a lot safer. I haven't felt any heat come through them, either and I've used them 3 times now. And not a mark on them, either !! No doubt they'll also scorch eventually but I expected I would notice marks on the grey, silicone portion and nothing....they each have a hanging loop stitched in, too. The inside is really soft and feels way nicer than the other style and not as stiff, either. They are always stiff as a rule and never seem to soften up, even after washing them. I am highly impressed with these. I had no idea you could even get ones in this smaller size, which is what has been the number one plus for me. Highly recommend them, especially if you would prefer a size smaller that you had never considered before !!Ooh, almost forgot to mention the pot stands. The stuff they're made of is very good. Totally non-slip on the worktop. A great idea. I have often been scrabbling about for something to put down when space is at a premium and I have a hold of something hot. Again, never thought to use anything expressly made for the purpose. My photo makes them look grey but they are black, not that the colour makes a jot of difference.

Bought these gloves 18 months ago and in that time they have been great to use; grippy, heat resistant and easy to clean. However I got burnt the other day and upon close inspection noticed the sticking between the thumb and rest of the glove had come away leaving a large hole through which I had burnt myself.So I would say they are great when in good condition but durability of my gloves was poor having not lasted 2 years with medium usage.

Gloves were most welcome protection for removing items from the hot oven. The hot pads are bring used as furniture protectors to place hot drinks very securely. They are excellent!

I was a little skeptical about the rubber lattice over the front of the gloves and there is a certain loss of tactility from this, but is more than made up from the grip that the rubber allows. My next concern was over the durability of the gloves against high heat but I've taken many baked trays out of the oven without any discomfort in my hands, loss of grip or damage to the gloves. My only advice would be in being careful when you place your hot item down as the gloves can grip a little too well and you should make sure you are completely loose of the dish before moving your hand away (as a hot dish of nachos almost found at as they skidded along the table). Overall very happy and expect to be using them for many years.

I like the grip, especially on large, heavy casserole dishes. They do however grip very well so you have to make sure you've definitely let go of the dish before moving your hands away. I like the extended cuff, great protection when reaching into the oven. They are a little big on me, I'm a 7.5 in gloves, but not enormously so.I can't comment on durability as I've only had them about a week but they look very well made.For £12.99 you can't go wrong!

Excellent heat resistance. Just need to be aware that the silicone strips occasionally prevent freedom of movement i.e the silicone sticks to certain items but once you are aware it isn’t so much of a problem. They are a good length so prevent wrist burns and are even quite stylish - especially if they match your kitchen colours, which mine do (grey). Latter of course not essential and overall I am very pleased with my purchase. They certainly ‘do the job’.

I thought these oven gloves where very efficient when picking up hot items and they looked nice but because they are non stick it is rather awkward to slip hot items onto the worktop or a hot plate onto a table as you can with normal oven mitts or gloves. I wouldn't send them back because they are so efficient but I would think twice before buying non stick gloves again.
