LAURA GELLER Baked Balance-n-Brighten Powder Foundation – Deep

This is my second purchase my first purchase lasted a year granted I don’t use it every day, but it does last a long time. Apparently, the color that I needed a color changed over this last year. I was using a fair and when I purchased it again lately, it was too fair so I ordered the medium, which is perfect even though I’m blonde in their skin it goes on so soft does not leave the powdery residue or look like powder on. It looks like a smooth creamy finish without the shine. It looks very natural. Even though it’s an excellent product to find it a little expensive and probably not ready available for some to be able to purchase it which is sad because it is a good product that could benefit from.im 65 with a lot of discoloration and it covers it well. Buy it you won’t regret it!

Bought this powder foundation on prime day, I waited a longgggggggg time to finally get this and it did not disappoint. I’m 36 years old with aging skin. It comes for us all lol. Anyways I just wanted to try something new other than liquid foundation because I’M OVER IT. This powder feels and looks like my skin. I wore it all day today(worked out, walked outside, wrestled with toddlers) and I had no issues whatsoever. I wouldn’t say it covers everything little thing BUT it definitely evened my skin tone and redness and maybe blurred my pores. I love this powder! My makeup routine has gone through a complete 360 after I had my baby. Keep it simple and make it quick is now my life lol I also bought the Laura Geller glowing powder foundation and I like that one too. Although I haven’t tested it out like I did with the balance n brighten today I’m still very much impressed. The only thing I’m not a fan of is the price. I’m a drugstore girlie but I’ll splurge every now and then, especially when it’s on sale. I get tan in the summer and pale in the winter, so I chose the Light shade and it matches perfectly.

I'm almost 60/F, some wrinkles and a fair amount of discoloration, red spots, and sun damage, esp. on cheeks. This foundation (baked balance and brighten, color FAIR) is really easy to use. Feels like nothing, even when building. I used only basic, soft, fluffy brushes I had on hand; they worked well for light coverage, but I do think a denser brush option - like a retracting kabuki, as recommended - might work better for building. Very good coverage on bare skin (moisturizar only), pracrically perfect over an inexpensive primer. Almost all my flaws disappeared, even without concealer. Did not settle in wrinkles, either. I FEEL PRET-TY, OH-SO PRET-TY!...or, at least, "not bad for an old broad, not at all!". I do find that using primer is better over large pores and significant discoloration, such as have I. I used a budget brand with spf 30 and the foundation went on perfectly. It's FAST, too. The longest part if the process is waiting for the primer to dry, maybe 1-3 minutes. Found it difficult to shade match - but to be fair: When is it *not* difficult? Would be a very nice thing if Laura Geller Beauty offered an inexpensive "sampler" (say, $5.00 for just enough product for 1/2 face in two adjacent shades) to help in this process. I tried "PORCELAIN" first, but it was just a tad too light. The model wearing "FAIR" looks like an olive tone to me, whereas (I think?) I'm more peachy, like the "LIGHT" model - but I'm super pale...but ... but.. hem ..haw.. Seems really wasteful to open, use once and return a full product to try a color that isn't quite right, as I have. "Samplers" would really help reduce the volume of product returns, not to mention reduce waste and carbon footprints - just sayin'. Step up,😀Laura Geller. Make the planet as beautiful as you have me!

As a woman in her 50's, I was on the seemingly never ending search for a light, full coverage foundation that was easy to apply, set in seconds, and was just as easy to reapply if needed. I wasn't asking for much. Nothing cakey, long lasting, natural looking, feels like velvet, forgot I had applied anything for the weightlessness... You know, that miracle foundation that checked all the boxes. I may have just found it (after how many decades?). This foundation is all that and more. So easy to apply, non drying, and my "routine", such as it is, has been reduced to a couple of minutes; just what I've been wanting. Absolutely gorgeous. I fall into the "I don't want to have to do much" category when I'm applying makeup, and this foundation fits the bill. I don't think I could ask for anything more.

I purchased Laura Geller’s Baked Balance-n-Brighten Powder after hearing it was great for mature skin and women over 40. While it’s not exactly what I was looking for, there are definitely some things I like about it. It feels lightweight, goes on smoothly, and is perfect for everyday wear. It does help soften the appearance of imperfections without looking cakey, which I appreciate. However, I was hoping for a little more coverage, especially for some of the dark spots on my face. Overall, it’s a nice powder for a natural look, but if you’re looking for more coverage, this might not be enough on its own.

I've been a fan of Laura Geller products for some time and decided to try the Baked Balance-n-Brighten Powder Foundation after using the Baked Balance-N-Glow for quite a while. I'm glad I did! While I liked the healthy glow that Balance-N-Glow provides, I felt I needed extra cove because the coverage is sheer. Balance-n-Brighten gives me better coverage and evens out the redness of my skin. What I like is that it looks natural and not overdone, even after layering a little more in areas where I want extra coverage. As someone who prefers quick and easy makeup, this saves me time, looks natural, and lasts throughout the day. I highly recommend giving Balance-n-Brighten a try.

I bought this foundation on a whim during Prime Day because it claimed to be designed for mature skin without settling into fine lines and wrinkles. I honestly expected it to fall short of that claim, but I was pleasantly surprised! I’ve used BareMinerals loose powder foundation for years, but over the past year or two, I’ve noticed that my skin has changed and my old powder just wasn’t sitting on my skin the way it used to. The Laura Geller Baked Balance-n-Brighten powder goes on smoothly, is buildable, and blends beautifully into my skin tone rather than looking like a layer of makeup sitting on top of it. Best of all, it doesn’t settle into my fine lines and wrinkles the way my old foundation did. It’s also incredibly easy to apply with a kabuki brush, and since it’s a pressed powder, there’s no loose powder mess to deal with. I’m so glad I took a chance on this one! It’s a great option for anyone whose skin has changed with age and who wants natural-looking coverage without emphasizing fine lines.

Ok. Provides light coverage. Also extremely difficult getting any product on the accompanying Kabuki brush because I feel like it is so heavily pressed in the compact. I literally have to scratch the palette with my finger nails to see any product on the brush. Disappointed and won’t repurchase.

I was extremely skeptical about how this product would be. It is FANTASTIC! The coverage is buildable and as a result I get a beautiful finish that still looks like my skin, but air brushed. It wears beautifully all day, it doesn't look dry or flaky at all. Will definitely buy again!

Was sooo looking forward to this product after seeing the reviews and also going on their website.. the color to light for my skin tone and the powder makes my skin look very powdery and dry. Don’t like it at all, such an pity cause I thought it’s my foundation problem solved

My wife bought this and she loves it. she has fair skin and the color is perfect and covers what she wants covered. she says it can feel a bit dry when first applied but lasts all day without setteling in to fine lines

Love this product, covers just as well as liquid foundation, the colour medium is perfect, gives my face a break from liquid foundations, on its own or I sometimes use a light cover over foundation for a flawless cover, its just perfect....worth the money. I use a few different shades light for winter, medium summer, and a few darker shades to use as bronzer....
