Great paddle. Stiff and lightweight.
I have been using an adjustable carbon paddle for two years now. It was working OK but had three shortcomings: 1. The adjustment would sometimes slip during use, 2. The blade seemed small (to suit many users), 3. It seemed a little heavy when stroking or changing sides. This paddle answered all three concerns. Based on the mfrs description, I opted for a 95 sq in blade area based on my size and intended use. The extra blade area is great. The all-carbon construction of the paddle is very light, I really enjoy the easier swing weight. My paddle arrived with the handle taped to the paddle in an separate poly-bag. It was necessary to cut the paddle to length and attach the handle with hot-melt glue. The biggest challenge was deciding what length to cut the shaft. I ended up at my height plus 10 inches which seems perfect for flat water lake paddling. Remember, you can always shorten it if you used hot melt glue. All in all, I am very happy with this paddle and highly recommend it .

No handle - pretty useless
Ordered twice. No handle was included with the first paddle. Second paddle NO handle AGAIN and shaft was cracked. May be better to look elsewhere. Returned both paddles.
