Make great house slippers
I go to a lot of department stores and I see the slippers they have on sale. The slippers I see are... 1. Too furry as they make your feet too hot. Your feet smell and at worse case scenario, all the fur in those house slippers give you foot and nail fungus as your feet can't breathe in all the fur. 2. You feet sweat in a lot of current house slippers that are available 3. Uncomfortable as the materials many manufactures make their slippers from are of poor quality 4. Many slippers sold at department stores are not durable. At one time I bought a pair of name brand slippers (forgot the brand), and within 3 months the slippers tore up to the point I could not wear them anymore. Right now Okabashi sandals or house slippers are the only and I stress ONLY decent brand of house slippers that are worth buying. I've been buying Okabashi for about 12 years and very happy with this brand. The average life span of Okabashi I buy have been from 3 to 4 years long before I had to replace them. Right now Okabashi are the only brand of house slippers that are.... 1. Durable 2. Comfortable 3. Don't get your feet too hot or cause your feet to get foot fungus 4. Can wear with socks comfortably if your feet do get cold 5. Last at least 2 to 3 years before you have to buy new ones 6. Versatile. The rest of these other house slippers with fur, slipper soles, poor quality, lack of durability as they fall apart in 3 months or less and just flat our uncomfortable are not worth buying . Okabashi in my opinion are the BEST house slippers around.

Comfortable and easy to put on
MY favorite shoes! I wear them everywhere and use them for everything. This is my second pair. Especially easier for us older gentleman to slip in and out of.

Nice sandals and fit
I ordered these for my husband. He is very hard to find shoes that fit him and I was so happy they worked for him. He is a size 13 narrow and I ordered these 12-13 narrow and they fit him perfectly!

Great sandal - order larger size
I have been wearing this style of sandal for around 10 years and I love them. These are the only sandals I wear. I have tried a couple of Okibashi styles, but for my needs, the men's Torino works best. I cannot wear sandals with anything between the toes. The sizing does seem a bit off - I wear a women's size 9.5 wide. I order size "LL" and it fits perfectly. The "ML" is too narrow for my foot, and just a bit short. Dec 2012 - the sizes appear to have been adjusted. My last order was a much better fit.

What’s going on Okabashi??
My dad has been wearing these shoes for 25 years because they are the only thing that helps his plantar fasciitis and the quality has gone WAY down hill. He is so upset. Every shoe seems to split sooner than the last ones. This time both of the shoes split in less than a month. Why can’t they make them the way they used to??

A gift
A while back my father gave me a pair of these as a gift. I thought "weird" at first but didn't say anything since they were a gift. He told me to use them in public places like when I shower after working out at the gym or at swimming pools. In fact, the first time I wore them was on the way to the shower after working out at the gym. Man! What a game changer. After showering I realized I wanted to wear them again. For the next several years I wore these suckers everywhere. It didn't matter what clothe I wore. It didn't matter if I went to pick up a gallon of milk or on a hot date. People assumed I was from some place like Bethlehem and roaming the earth for the next party. Or some people thought I belonged to some remote Amazonian tribe. I didn't care. My feet were free and healthy despite the miles and miles of walking. I wore these from Mexico to Europe without fear. I still have the original pair. In comparison, the originals lasted longer due to the thickness and seemed a bit stiffer. The newer models seem softer and more flexible. I don't travel as much as I used too. But I do wonder if these newer models would handle the stress of back packing through Europe for two years like my old pair did. I still wear them every chance I get. The occasional milk run, taking my son to baseball practice, etc. Sometimes I wear them to work. It's my little way of sticking it to the system. Call me an oldie, but my old pair would have five stars. They deserve that recognition. Four stars for the new pair.

Love Okabashi but I like Eurosport better
I've been a Eurosport Okabashi wearer for a while. My last pair was my 3rd but its been many, many years of wearing. These guys last forever. This time I decided to try a different style. I don't hate the Torino and I expect I'll be wearing this for a long time if Okabashi quality hasn't deteriorated. However, its got a much thinner sole and is slightly smaller all around. Its much less "substantial" than the Eurosport. I got a LL, which is the perfect fit on the Eurosport but with the Torino, my toes are pretty much at the edge. The larger size is too big for me though so this is the right size. Its a lighter slipper and not one I would want to wear outside, whereas the Eurosport works just as well indoors or out running quick errands. That said, I think the Torino is a better looking slipper than the Eurosport. Which is why I wanted to try it and, in person, the pictures do it justice. It is better looking. This slipper aside, I do want to say Okabashi is the best slipper maker in the world. Love them and will not be buying any other brand as long as they continue to maintain their quality and comfort level.

These are way to wide for me.
I'm a US size 11 so opted for the narrow US 10.5-11 narrow and they are far to wide. I have a narrow foot and fairly long toes. The length is fine but I can fit two fingers easily on the sides and top and my foot tries to slide out the front when I walk. Also the toe arch Ridge is to far forward. Really disappointed but I shouldn't have paid so much for something I hadn't tried before. If you have narrow feet maybe try a size smaller but I'd be worried they'd be the same just shorter and end up to short.

Suitable for women with non-narrow feet
I am a woman wearing US size 8, happy with ML on this sandal. No glue on this so scrubbing with brush shouldn't be an issue.
