The Battle for Skandia: Book Four (Ranger's Apprentice)

I am excited to read the next book. I like this series. I've read the books several times. When I can't think of a book to get, I go back to the Ranger's Apprentice.

This book is entertaining with a great plot. I highly recommend! The Rangers Apprentice series is the best- I am so glad I found it.

Fun battles, side plots and great series. The character development is fantastic, with a little heartbreak and worry to keep you reading.

I have started this series on the advice - to my 13 yr old - of my 14 yr old nephew. I wanted to read it first and see what kind of book it was and if it was appropriate for him. I find myself thoroughly enjoying this series rather than just screening it for my son. The action is tense and riveting in this book. The main characters use intelligence and ingenuity to meet the overwhelming and seemingly insurmountable odds that face them. There are so many twists and turns and Halt, Will, Horace, Evanlyn & Erak step up to the challenge with their usual tenacity, sense of humor and strength of character. John Flannagan writes with a wit and charm that captures the imagination of young and old alike, my son's young and my old. I find myself speeding through the series looking forward to the next book. I am lucky I got into it a little late so there are a few books to catch up until I am waiting with the rest of the world. I am enchanted by these books and more than willing for all of my children to endulge their fantasy reading with them. Great read and highly recommended for all ages.

One of my favorite coming-of-age books of all time! Easy to read and get sucked into, definitely give it a shot!

Grand adventures and surprising triumphs……but also hardships endured with inner strength, as these characters hone their skills of survival, battle, and building strength. And also, enduring friendship through shared trials! A very well executed story, indeed!

I read these books when I was younger. The author does a great job of navigating complex emotions and exploring coming-of-age topics. The stories are fun, and the characters grow as you read. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys knights, ladies, and a little fantasy.

This book is one of my favorites. Get ready for a whole lot of action-packed adventuring! You've done it again John Flanagan!

Wonderful book by John Flanagan. I liked this book very much. It kept me on the edge of my seat. Like all the previous books you feel as if the defenders will lose but in the form of an unexpected hero someone or the other will save them. I recommend this as must read for all RA fans. Deserves the 5 stars it gets.

This book is probably one of the best in the series however they are all amazing so don't stop here, if you enjoyed the first one you'll like this, if you liked 'Lord of the Rings' read the rangers apprentice

It was so good and I really enjoyed it! It was full of heartbreak, love, hope, joy, and most of all adventure!!! I loved it and I would recommend the series to any person of any age!
