Best Camino Guidebook
I prefer this guidebook over Brierley—found it to be more concise yet thorough. I bought the book and downloaded the ebook for my walk. Used it everyday. I liked the stages, but rarely stayed in the stages, preferring the smaller villages with great albergues. This is the book to buy if you are planning to walk the Camino!!

Very useful and readable guidebook
Can’t wait to put it to the real test! I expect the albergue lists to be particularly helpful, as well as the described distances.

Stages are paced inconsitantly
It's a good guide, we followed it the first week and then started pacing ourselves. For example it tells you to stop in Ages which is a tiny town with 2 albergues and nothing else. If you go like literally an extra mile you have a much bigger city with many more accommodations. Also sometimes for example one day was 13 miles and the next was 17 and there was no reason for that like we just split it 15 and 15 and stopped in a nicer pueblo. I do like the information the book has too. It doesnt seem to romanticize the camino it's very much just facts, which I like. Anyways this along with a camino app on my phone it worked well.
