If you are a gaming enthusiast and would like start with basics, then this monitor doesn't burn your money pocket and delivers one of its kind performance. It has the 144Hz refresh rate with 1ms which is not even found in larger TV's now-a-days. Buy a suitable HDMI to get best results (HDPI 2.2) Corners are very tiny which gives you an immersive gaming experience and this large screen accommodate multiple windows to work on office works & some data entry works. It comes with HDR Ready with Full HD 1920 x 1080, so even Netflix & Prime Video looks very classic to watch in this monitor. Internal speakers are the only Cons, this could make a bit more better package, but still that doesn't degrade in front of the display color and brightness (400 nits).

So, I've been using this monitor for a week now and here are my thoughts. The panel itself is pretty good and holds up to the IPS standard. 27 inch doesn't dumb down the 1080p resolution because of being larger and I believe it is perfect size for gaming and productivity. Talking about the features enabling VRB to extreme setting gives the promised 1ms response time but at 30% of brightness, so I used VRB at night only which collides with my gaming time. Also whenever I am not enabling VRB I enable freesync which reduces ghosting which I couldn't notice with my naked eyes but still its there. HDR 10 I never used but I think it increases the contrast a bit but couldn't find any real world usage. There were 2 things that bugged me - 1. My unit's power cable is loose so if I move/displace my monitor the screen shuts off, so I have to rejoin the power cable to make it work. Although it doesn't happen when the monitor is stationary. It is possible that my unit is faulty a bit but it wasn't as a big deal that I wanted it replaced. 2. The monitor is wobbly. Like when my feet touches or gives a light kick to the legs of my table the monitor jiggles or wobbles. to remove it a wall mount is preferred but it is a lot of work and commitment so I deal with the wobble whatsoever. Points to note - 1. This comes with a hdmi cable, but the cable supports up to 120hz and not 144hz. You have to shell close to 1k for the dp cable for the 144hz experience. I am using this with the hdmi only at 120 hz and I am pretty fine with it, later i might upgrade. 2. If you are using it with your laptop then don't duplicate the screen as the refresh rate will be stuck at 60hz, you need to use the second screen only option (Project tab) for 120 or 144hz. 3. In UFO test the refresh rate comes up to be 65hz while using the hdmi cable don't know why, but I know I am getting 120hz from the games I play and the screen refresh display tool of acer's own settings. 4. Also register the product at acer's website as soon as you receive the product as it would be hassle free during future warranty claims or to check if you did get the the product you were promised. I'm gonna be honest, i spent over a month trying to find the perfect monitor for myself. I wanted something with IPS, over 120Hz, 27 inches as well as bang for the buck. I thought I'd have to compromise on something or the other, I'm super happy with my purchase. This monitor lives up to all my expectations and it's a steal at the price (19,000). Don't believe what the other reviews tell you as this monitor is exactly as advertised, I was lucky to get a perfect piece with no dead pixels and backlight bleeding, check for that as it's just luck because every piece is different regardless of the model some can be defective. People who say that it's not 144Hz don't know how to work their PC because the refresh rate is insane. Would definitely recommend this if you don't want to compromise on quality and still get an amazing product.

The base stand is sturdy however, the monitor shakes a little in case you’re sitting near a window with heavy breeze. No cause for concern as it does not affect viewing stability. • The build quality of the stand and the monitor is durable • Monitor truly has 144Hz refresh rate due to which gaming is very smooth. The monitor as a whole has a well-designed elegant look. • Native resolution is 1920x1080 but supports up to 3840x2160. However, sharpness of text and images decreases for every input resolution other than the native resolution. • The monitor is good for graphic designing softwares too. • Colour reproduction is awesome. The colours of every pixel are crisp. Contrast is excellent. • 27-inch IPS panel with great viewing angles as advertised. Bezel less display provides an immersive experience while watching movies and gaming. • Brightness is high. Helps while gaming under bright light/sunlight. Better to reduce the brightness to zero at night. • There is no backlight bleed. The backlight is uniform across the whole screen. Had recorded a video about it but couldn't upload it since Amazon has a limitation to upload one video per review. • User Interface is user-friendly • For Windows 10, HDR mode has to be turned on in the display settings of Windows as well as the monitor to get the actual effect of HDR i.e. 12-bit colour display. Only turning on HDR of the monitor doesn’t change anything except for increasing the brightness. Note that turning on HDR in the Windows settings consumes 22% more power (in Watts) so it is good for watching movies but not advisable while playing high-end games. • This monitor has no in-built speakers nor any audio output port. I didn’t need it since I have good quality external speakers • There are 2 HDMI and 1 DP ports. • Game is tested on Zotac GeForce 1060 6GB AMP! I originally purchased this monitor for sim racing as I already have a primary and secondary for work. PICTURE QUALITY - Despite it being a 1080p panel at 27", the text is pretty legible and it doesn't look bad at all. The out of the box colors were really accurate with the temperature being changed to natural - not to mention the brightness is incredible. Media consumption and photo/editing on this panel is a boon. It being an IPS panel, it doesn't have the deepest blacks. But backlight bleed is uniform and controlled. GAMING - As I said above, I purchased this for sim racing. I have (so far) not noticed any ghosting or delay while playing. I am mostly a casual gamer so I cannot speak about its response in shooters. But you're not gonna be disappointed if you're not playing competitively. It seemed pretty darn smooth for me. QUALITY CONTROL/BUILD QUALITY - Reading the reviews, you'll see people mention all sorts of oddities and problems with this monitor. And that's true. With a monitor being this cheap, there's bound to be bad ones out there and you could get one that's either bad or good. Fortunately, mine was pretty good. The stand is weighted so it doesn't feel that cheap but still wobbles a little. The outer body is average in quality and feels a little cheap. The bottom bezel is not fully flat with the monitor. There's a little gap but that could just be my unit. It's average at best but you get what you pay for. I've seen worse. ADDITIONAL - I personally wouldn't bother with HDR at this brightness and Windows HDR implementation isn't that good either. It doesn't come with a DisplayPort cable which IMO is important. CONCLUSION - This is a "you get what you pay for" monitor with a little bit of lottery luck. If you get a good unit, you're in for a treat. I purchased this for 15k flat and it's worth every penny. Gave it 4 stars because of the questionable build quality and quality control.

Amazing monitor. IPS 144Hz at this price is truly the deal. It has LFC so that even if your CPU is not able to push frames, it smoothens them and you get a very nice gaming experience. Freesync works with Nvidia and AMD cards through display cable. Colors that this monitor reproduces are astonishing. The black level is the only drawback I could notice but I am coming from experiencing OLED display for the most part. For IPS even the blacks are good. This is one such product which makes you smile everytime you look at it. GG!

Writing review after almost 4 months of use. Display : Crisp, great viewing angle, thanks to IPS panel. 144Hz works like a charm. (with HDMI 2.0 cable provided) Great brightness(I use it at almost the lowest setting as it feels too bright for me) Great color reproduction. Good for mid level photo editing as well. Settings : All basic settings with presets for different genre of games, HDR doesn't seem to work fine via HDMI, display port suggested. Built Quality: Sleek and great built, Thin form factor. Great looking stand. Wobbles a bit if your table isnt super stable, but that is to be expected because of the large size as well. Verdict: Best buy at this price point. (INR16700 for me) even at current prize seems good deal.
