THERMOS FUNTAINER 12 Ounce Stainless Steel Kids Bottle, Batman

We love these in our house. My daughter loves the button and always closes the top so when its closed it doesn't spill. This isn't leakproof unless closed, just an fyi. I always thought the lid would be annoying but this is her cup of choice so we switched over to them for water bottles and she loves that she can use the handle on the kid to carry it. I like that they keep drinks cool for a longer time so I dont have to run to the fridge to put milk away if she stops drinking it. The image will come off eventually but all cups will wear eventually. To address the fake comments, I too was concerned as the one we bought on Amazon had an opaque straw, not clear. I also read about an imprint on the tread meaning it was authentic. I compared to one I bought at target and noticed that did not have the imprint, and I knew that was authentic. I then contacted thermos because if it was a fake I wouldn't let my daughter drink it, and they confirmed that this is from them and authentic (I sent the amazon link) and that they make opaque and clear straw tops. So, if in doubt contact thermos directly.

My daughter started Kindergarten this fall and being in Texas I wanted something to keep her water cool/cold for school. I guess I had been living under a rock because I had never seen these Funtainer Thermos' before and am so happy I came across them! I was originally going to buy her a Hyrdoflask since mine works so well but came across these just in time...which worked out so much better for her! The fun designs alone are great. She was thrilled to see R2D2 (Any chance there's a BB8 out...or will be out? We would totally but it!). I always handwash it, so it's still in great shape so far. We have only used it for water/ice water so far...so I have no experience with how well it holds up for smoothies and all. I can tell you that when school first started it was 100 degrees outside and it kept ice cold water for around 2 hours (I had left it outside but didn't think to try it any longer). My daughter said by the time she had recess and lunch, she would go to fill it up and the ice was melted...but would still keep her water cool for the bus ride home which was a plus! Now that it is fall, there is still ice in it when she gets home...some melts but she usually refills it with water at least once during her day. We haven't had any problems with leaking but like I mentioned we have only used it for water so I can't speak for other liquids. As I mentioned in the title, I'd order an extra straw just in case...the first day of my daughter taking it to school, she went Cujo and chewed up like half of it...I don't think she ate any pieces (at least we hoped not👀😯) because there were just holes and little flaps of straw dangling off😂😳 I cut off the half that was mauled and just had her use it that way, still works lol but I plan on ordering the replacement pack at some point. I also ordered the hot pink and, like R2D2, I hand wash it and it's in great shape. The lid buttons are still working great and it's the perfect size for my little kindergartener! Also, the price is really not much more than a lot of the plastic bottles, which is nice. Very happy and will buy more in the future!

I bought one funtainer bottle for my older son a few years ago when they didn't even have handle on top of the bottle. He loves it because his favorite character on the bottle and the straw is easy to use (so he's willing to drink more water!), pop-up lid is convenient too. I love it because it's easy to clean the straw, lightweight and it doesn't leak (as long as you put the straw part back right). When my second son was old enough to use straw bottle, I bought him another funtainer and he loves it too. After we carelessly lost his Thomas bottle, I bought him a water bottle from other brand instead because Funtainer is not that cheap. Unfortunately he didn't like drinking from the new bottle, even it still had Thomas printed on the bottle. So we ended up buying Funtainer again and now he is happy. Guess I shouldn't have wasted my time and money looking for replacement of Funtainer. P.S We just called their customer service for straw replacement after I read some useful reviews here. It only cost $1 per straw (limit 5) and $3 for shipping (no matter you order 1 straw or 5). Thanks for these wonderful reviews and save us some money for straw.

Best purchase ever, seriously! I have a 4 year old who drinks a lot, chews on straws, and leaves dirty, hard-to-clean plastic cups all around the house. This thermos solved all my issues at once! 1) My LO loves the Paw Patrol design. 2) It's just the right size. 3) It keeps drinks at the perfect temperature for hours. 4) It's airtight, so juice doesn't go bad if you leave it on the counter overnight. 5) It's super easy to use; just press the front button and top opens and the straw comes out. 6) The stainless steel interior is super easy to clean and all parts come apart for easy cleaning/drying. 7) It's got a built-in carry ring so you can either carry it by the ring or attach it to a stroller/backpack. 8) The integrated straw is super resistant (no chew marks yet!) 9) It doesn't "sweat" when you put cold drinks inside. 10) Thermos quality you can count on. Bye-bye nasty plastic cups!

This cup showcases all four ninja turtles all around the cup. It is both adorable and masculine at the same time with the black lid and the heroes shown no matter how you turn it. What I like most about these thermos containers is that the liquid will stay cold for a long time. I haven’t tested exactly how long. But I live in Southern California and it can get very hot here. I will put water with ice in these and leave the house with the kids around 9 am and the water is still cold when we eat lunch around 1 pm. They are easy to clean and I like they are not made of plastic. I believe the straw parts are silicone – this is great if your kids tend to chew on the straw like mine do. These are very durable. It is a little hard to take apart sometimes for cleaning, but once you get the hang of it it’s fine. This is dishwasher safe, although the cap would likely melt if it falls into the heating unit of your dishwasher. I’ve put juice in these. Lemonade is fine but orange or any carrot-based juice will stain the straw. It will fade over time. Depending on your sensitivities this could be a drawback. The top has three parts: the plastic lid, the straw that goes in your mouth and the long tube to reach for the liquid. My husband tends to forget to add the straw – and without it you cannot drink! My kids really like that they can carry these cups like little bags with a little holder that pops on the top. We haven’t had leaking using these cups, but liquid can come off the top if you hold them upside down and shake them – which of course, kids will do on occasion.

I've used this thermos before and decided to buy again. But this time to also do a review. I love this thermos with replaceable straw. It comes in 4 pieces. A cap, a body, a straw and a mouth piece. Pros: -Push button: spring release is easy for my 2 y/o to open it herself. Letting her be independent to open and close when she wants. -Size: perfect for my toddler to hold. -Cap: durable, also has collapsible handle. My child can carry the bottle with 1 hand using the handle. -Body: durable and very strong. It's taken a few tumbles down the stairs and still no dents or spills. -straw/mouth piece: both replaceable, mouth piece is flexible. Easy to remove for washing. Remember to use a straw brush to clean the replaceable parts. They sell kits that includes the replaceable parts and straw brush together. CON: NOT long term dishwashable: if you do use it continuously in the dishwasher, then that's where all the problems happen in about 6 months. Best to just handwash and it's a great product. But if you insist on dishwasher then this is not for you unless you plan to replace it or it's parts about 6-8 months. -The mouth piece will slightly warp due to the dishwasher heat and cause it to leak. You can't see the warp, but you'll notice a leak. -on some bottles, the bottom of the thermos body seal will also warp and thus allowing water to seep in. But the bottom is a separate chamber and so will never contaminate anything inside the bottle. Like any item that has trapped moisture sit for long periods of time may foster mold. You can't clean this because the bottom is not meant to be taken off and that's why they seal it. Conclusion: It's honestlya great bottle to keep things cold or hot. Easy to clean and reassemble. Easy for a toddler to use and hold, letting them be independent. Just don't wash in dishwasher if you want it to last long. This actually is a rule of thumb for a lot of sippy cups, straw cups, 360's where they have rubbery silicone parts. They honestly can't handle the dishwasher temperature and eventually warp and leak. Conclusion: it's the best drink straw cup for toddlers. Despite the slight inconvenience of don't use dishwasher, it's the best durable, leak free, kid friendly, easy to open, keep cold, easy to remove and wash parts. I've tried tons of sippy cups, 360s, straw cups, etc. And they also don't last long term in dishwasher either.

Pros: 1. My son loves Batman and this design is actually very cool, not too much but shows the batmanship just right. 2. No leaks of any kind. 3. Durable for what it is. This is the 3rd that my son have since he’s 1 years old. We buy new ones because we keep losing it. 4. Easy to clean and replacement straws are very easy and cheap to get. 5. Doing pretty decent job in keep water/drink temperature. Both hot or cold. Cons: My 5 year old is very active and this bottle is too small for his whole day in school. Yet he’s usually too busy to refill. Wish they can have a bottle with same design but larger volume.

I searched high and low for a thermos for my two year old son. The first and most important concern for me was a stainless steel bottle that I was able to clean well. I've had caps/covers with so many nooks and cranny's that mold starts to grow...yuck. I use Dr Brown baby bottle brush cleaner to clean the straw; and am able to remove the entire straw from the cap so I can clean the cap. Another concern is that this would hold up to a two year old's abuse and this one does. I also wanted to be sure this was something he could open and close on his own---perfect, never had an issue opening it. And lastly, keep his drinks cold---absolutely!!! I am shocked that after several hours of being in hot temperatures that the water is still cold! We tote this little thermos everywhere we go.....it's just great!!! I highly recommend this thermos for kids...would make an awesome gift for the summer for fairs, cook outs, the beach...etc!

Really nice design and very robust. My son loves batman and this has encouraged him to drink more water. Can definitely recommend.

Smart design. Our little guy punished this thing in the first 3 months. Dings, scrapes, sand in the bottom, etc. Still works. Doesn't leak. Easy and cheap replacement straws and mouth pieces. Very happy with this.
