Herschel Nova Backpack

Love this backpack! The measurements were definitely not correct tho, that’s why i knocked off a star. This was supposed to be 14.75” tall, it’s not. But i can work with that. However some people can’t and it needs to be accurate.I wanted a “plain” backpack that was nice looking but not to blingy. I love pastel pink and purple. They didn’t have a pastel purple, so pink it was. I’m not 12 so i wanted something that looked feminine but didn’t make me look like a wannabe tween with some crazy design. The color and quality make it stand out, i didn’t need bedazzle to overdo it like most women’s backpacks do. Love the colors. Hopefully Herschel hears my cries for a lavender color and I’ll invest in another bag!! The zipper is the BEST part. It’s a quality, solid metal zipper! Not a flimsy plastic zipper.The canvas material is very sturdy. The inside seems well sewn. It fits my 13.5” MacBook and my 12.9” iPad with cases on them. The front pocket fits my laptop charger and my graphing calculator. I’m very impressed for the price point. I’ll have to come back after several months of use to update on the wear and tear of it. Me and my HarleyQuill (my Hedgie) approve lol.

My daughter loved this cute backpack until it got wet and the red lining bleed through and stained the outside. I can’t return to Amazon sadly. Waste of money now. Amazon and Herschel should re-evaluate their policy.

I love Herschel and the color of this backpack is absolutely gorgeous!! I didn't have any issues with the quality of the backpack. Came well packaged by Zappos, who is always reliable with top customer service.Guys, I wanted to love this backpack so badly but you really need to be aware of exactly HOW "mini" this backpack is. While the extra mini size is cute, it's not practical. I thought it would be fine for a regular day out in the city but the lack of space and compartmentation was more of an inconvenience than it was worth :/ But if you're perfectly fine with a very teeny backpack, this is adorable!! Wish it came in a larger size.

I love this backpack! I was sick of my tote bag always falling off my shoulder. I have a couple plain Jansports from college, but I wanted something a little more elevated in looks for my corporate office. And this is definitely perfect. The weathered gray is also great for hiding dirt/salt if any gets on it. And I love the streamlined/slim style to the bag with the double handle on top. The only thing I'm not overly in love with is the zippers. I love that they're gold, but they're a little rough on my hands and don't always open or close smoothly. Otherwise, I'm extremely happy with this purchase!

I ordered the Herschel Nova Small Backpack. There were a few "blacks" to select from but I chose the first black. The material is cotton ...very casual looking which I was looking for. Delivery was quick and was well packaged.At first glance it appears very small. But it packs quite a bit. I'm an artist I like to carry my watercolors and a 5 x 8 inches sketchbook along with the essentials (wallet, phone, flashlight...) And since I do walk a lot a backpack like this is perfect. Not too large or too small. What I particular like is the two sides pockets which I can carry my water container, an umbrella and/or coffee container. I have pictured my Samsung Tablet in the backpack for size.Noted though there isn't any inside pockets. But I bag the miscellaneous, so that's not an issue.

I’ve always thought the Sydney, Settlement, and Heritage bag were way too big for me. This one is still the same height but the curve at the top makes it appear snug and much smaller.It fits my folders (without folding the edges), 5 subject thick notebook, and my laptop 13” perfectly with more room available.But my 21oz hydro flask doesn’t fit on the side. This bag will only be an issue if you carry on the heavy side since it doesn’t have shoulder padding.UPDATE:On days I want to carry a lot... this bag kills my shoulder. I only carried my macbook+charger+pencilcase and your typical bag essentials and it just dug into my shoulder. The zipper is sharp and louder than the usual. It's super cute and functional but do not buy this if you need to carry heavy stuff. I'm switching back to my Sydney Herschel bag with padding. I wish they remade this bag but with shoulder padding.

Herschel makes a sturdy, well-designed backpack. The Nova Mini is a good substitute for an everyday handbag when you want to keep it really casual. Unfortunately I knew I had to return this backpack as soon as I opened the Amazon package, because the Ash Rose color doesn't look pink at all. It's almost like a grayish lavender. I didn't even take the backpack out of the plastic wrap, I just sealed up the package and returned it. So disappointed because the backpack itself is cute. I wish it came in a larger variety of colors.

This backpack is a great size for everyday items. It fits my 13" laptop with a case on it. The only thing that was really disappointing was the zippers. The top unzips with two zippers - a feature which I really like. However, one of the zippers is substantially less smooth which makes it annoying. The side pockets are handy but can be a bit awkward.

I’ve only had this a few weeks but so far, so good. It has the quality you’d expect from the brand. The most surprising thing is how much it can hold - I originally thought it may be too small to get all my work (and occasionally overnight) stuff in, but that’s just not the case. I fit a laptop, charger, notebook, book, water bottle, change of clothes and toiletries in this with only a little bit of careful packing needed. Comfy to carry too.Only thing I would change is for it to have a couple of small compartments inside to make it easier to find small things

Zips were really rough and felt like they were stuck when pulling. Material is really rough. Item arrived with stitches loose. Customer service was non existent. Ended up spending ,£15 of own money to return item as it was from America. Never again!

Love it. Great quality material, looks expensive, perfect size for daytime gym/ work gear and also for overnight.

Girlfriend absolutely loved it! Uses it everyday. It's nice and compact, good alternative to carrying around a handbag especially for work. Still looks great.

Nice and quality fabric. Small, convenience size but it has enough room for a sweater, light jacket, sunglasses case, umbrella, cap. They can all fit inside. Bottle of water at the side of the bag. Very good for hiking or sightseeing. Zipper is a little bit hard to pull, but I believe it should be smoother after a few uses.

Der Rucksack ist sehr leicht, bequem, von guter Qualität und hat viel Platz drin. E' successo esattamente ciò che temevo: lo zaino arrivato a me è soprattutto con la parte di tessuto di fogliame, è uno zaino verde matto, invece di uno zaino fiorato sgargiante. Tipico problema di queste fantasie, vanno comprati solo in negozio per poter scegliere quello più fiorato e bello. Zaino banale e di nessun effetto.

Sehr guter Rucksack, der viel aushält. Ich bin mehr als zufrieden. Mein 24 Zoll Laptop passt auch ohne Probleme rein.An denn Seiten passen leider nur kleine Flaschen rein, aber das ist ok.Ich kann es definitiv empfehlen und würde ihn auch wieder kaufen.

Prodotto molto pratico e all'altezza delle aspettative; potrebbe facilmente sostituire una borsetta per una giornata in città. Le cerniere sono un po' dure, ma credo sia perché il prodotto è nuovo. L'unica vera pecca sono le tasche: quell'esterna non riesce a contenere il cellulare; quell'interna è poco strutturata (sarebbe stato meglio fossero state due più piccole). Nel complesso, comunque, sono molto soddisfatta del prodotto e del venditore, super professionale.

Great size backpack. Very light weight and comfortable. I use it as a diaper backpack to go out with my toddlers. Durability is okay... Could use improvement. There's some scratches on bag already and haven't used it a whole lot

El producto de calidad es muy bueno, solo que es demasiado pequeño para los fines que teníamos previstos. La de llevar el tupper, la cartera y el termo. Solo con el tupper y poco más se llena, por lo que es más bien para cosas pequeñas. El vendedor muy rápido y profesional a la hora de realizar tanto el envío como la devolución.
