Will the smell come back?

The most common reason is vacuuming too early. Granules keep absorbing for a full day, so removing them sooner cuts the work short. If urine has soaked into carpet backing, the source sits deeper — expect to reapply after a day.

How long do I leave it on?

At least 24 hours, and longer does no harm. That is the window where the granules do their work. On outdoor areas you can simply leave them in place and sweep or rinse away later.

How do I get it out of carpet?

Vacuum thoroughly, using two passes over the pile rather than one. Brushing or raking the fibers first loosens granules that have worked down between them. On low pile and hard floors a single pass is usually enough.

Is it safe around dogs and children?

It is a natural mineral formula, non-toxic and gentle, with no added fragrance, and it is used in homes with dogs and children every day. As with any household product, store it out of reach and follow the directions.

Will my cat still use the box?

There is no added fragrance, so nothing scented goes into the litter. Mix a light dusting through fresh litter rather than layering it on top, and the box looks and feels much the same to her as before.
