What’s the difference between this and Contigo Auto Seal west loop?

There's a big difference in the locking mechanism. The west loop mug uses a much larger and differently positioned spring. After less than a month, my West loop spring snapped and the mug would not close. I've had the transit mug for almost 4 years and had no issues with it at all. Much sturdier spring design

Please would you specify the base diameter

Dear Consumer, this is Leszek from the Contigo Consumer Care. Thank you for contacting us as regards the diameter of the base of our Transit 16oz. In response, I do confirm that the base is 7.8 cm. I hope that this information is useful. Regards, Leszek Contigo Consumer Service Reach us on: 0800 169 4080, Monday to Friday: 9AM – 5PM (GMT)

What's the diameter at the widest part? And what happens when washed in dishwasher?

Widest 3”…… they are the best you will ever buy. Put ice and juice/ water it will keep the ice for hour and hours
