Good but a little flaky
This is a good switch, I like the design. I especially like the care the designers took to make the switch align with the ports in the back -- too many like this have the "switch to the left = port on the right" problem. This one, they match. My only problem is that it is sometimes flaky. I switch from one side to the other and only one channel connects. I have to click it back, and quite firmly ram it back to the other side to get both channels connected. Not sure if this is a bad unit, and it's not a fatal flaw. Just an annoyance.

Off doesn't really mean off
When you flip from A to B (or even to the middle "off" position), there is still sound coming from A, and vice versa. It's quiet, but it's there, which means the switch isn't really doing the one job it's supposed to do. The bleed is quiet enough that you can still A/B compare headphones, but for the same price you can get a switch that actually works.

Just what I needed...
This headphone selector is a good idea if you want to switch between two sets of headphones and are tired of unplugging and plugging jacks into a mixer. I was a little disappointed as it was smaller than expected and made out of plastic; the pc board still had flux on it and the solder joints were needy, but shiny (not cold) which was a relief. After install, it seems to work well, is quiet, (no audible clicking on switch movement) and switch should hold up as it seems to be heavy duty. Configured upside down to fit in to my workstation area, the labeling sticker had to be removed and re-applied to be readable and should come separate if anyone else decides to do the same. Also it would be nice if there were an additional set of holes drilled in the back panel (or it came with Velcro) that were reinforced for mounting purposes.

Nice little switch, but!
This switch has a center off position, which I thought at first I didn't like, but after using it for a few days, I changed my mind. I use it to switch between listening to a video on my computer and programs on the tv. The center off position allows me to quickly "mute" both sources. This switch worked great for a while, BUT it eventually had contact problems. In other words, sometimes both sides made contact and sometimes they didn't which means I lost one of the stereo channels. Unfortunately there is no way to put contact cleaner in the switch so there is no way to correct the problem. I finally replaced the switch with another brand which, by the way, didn't hold up any better. I am now trying a slide switch to see if lasts longer. In all fairness, I switched this switch a lot and if the user doesn't use it as much as I do, it will likely work fine for a long time.

Works as should
This worked pretty good allowing existing speakers to be easily swapped between two PCs. Construction is better than I anticipated. You can select between PC one or PC two or turn off sound from all as the switch has three positions.

Badly constructed, performance degrades quickly
I needed a splitter to switch computer audio between speakers and headphones for meetings. This seemed like a good option, so I went ahead and purchased it.It worked well for the first month, maybe. Then, over time, one input or the other would cut out, or either the left or right channel would be missing. I would have to switch over and over again hoping for it to work properly, every time. It added stress as I had to spend a minute or more before every meeting trying to get the switch to work properly.Eventually I gave up and purchased a different unit from another store, which has worked flawlessly for months now. I do not recommend this switcher, as it just led to frustration.

Good isolation of the channels
This one has very good isolation of the noise. The inactive channel is isolated with no static coming through, I has this problem with other switch. My equipment on one channel goes nicely to sleep mode on no signal when inactive on the switch. The plugs fit quite tightly, but maybe that is secret to good quality of switching.

Poor contacts
For the price, loss of stereo signal shouldn't happen. I've ordered two. One losses the channel and has to have its toggle switch played with, in order to get it back. The contacts also sometimes cut out, despite having a clean 1/8" male jack inserted properly. So, maybe the springs inside the female jack holes need bending? I don't know, but I shouldn't have to go and figure out why 1, out of 2, doesn't work.

Right Channel stopped working after 3 months of use.
Only used for about 3 months, been using it since 2021 Jan.Now it is 2021 April, and i need to get a replacement. rediculous. The left channel still works, and double checked with my other wires to ensure my headphones / extension, etc was working. Now im going to have to buy a new one.As of frequency of the switch use, i probably toggled the switch maybe 4~5 times a day, for the past 3 months.
