We used these servos for controlling the rudder on a small (~20") homemade remote control boat. We used this in conjunction with the MicroZONE 8 Channel Receiver and powered it with the 5V BEC (battery eliminator circuit) on the motor ESC (electronic speed controller). The servos worked in this setup with no modifications and were easy to attach to the rudder and powerful enough to do the job.

I ordered these for a gag project at work. They arrived on my doorstep in 2 days, and I've used them for some minor DIY automation stuff where I've connected them to an Arduino. I simply downloaded the appropriate library, wrote my simple program, and connected the servo to the board with some jumpers. It worked. If you want to use more than one with a single board, you'll have to use a separate power source for the servos.

I had some of these but from a kit and they were really weak. But these shocked me how much more powerful they were. Mine have already been through a lot of abuse and still holding strong
