I've had it for a while, looking to get something like this but a little bigger. This one is simple, easy to see, nice design. Even with the backlight off, the numbers are visible - have not been able to find this feature in others small battery operated clocks. The three levels of brightness are also really useful to see the time in different levels of ambient light. Batteries last quite a while.

This alarm absolutely does not go up to 85db. It's not loud at all. If you're looking to get woken up as a heavy sleeper, look elsewhere.

I like the clock features-easy to read, alarm sound is good but I've had to replace batteries about every 60 - 90 days.
