These tools have a grip on me!
I am a martial artist with 45 years of training. I am always looking for new ways to enhance and increase my flexors, and these little silicone doughnuts do the job. the 60lb one was too easy, the 70lb one is a little bit of a challenge, but the 80lb one is great for its resistance and its resilience. When I first got them I was easily able to squeeze and release the 60lb one 25 times with no problems. I now use that one to enhance the strength of my fingertips with. The 70lb ones was easy to do, up to 25 reps. The 80lb one was a bit of a challenge at first and I got only 10 squeezes out of it before my flexors quit on me. I have a suggestion for the rest of you. If you order one set, you might as well order two sets of them, that way you can do the same exercises on both hands with the same resistance. If you like to vary it a bit, try to do one hand with a 60lb crusher and the other with a 70 or 80 pound crusher. I highly recommend this item for mechanics who use their fingers for tightening screws, and for martial arts practitioners training for pressure point manipulation, small joint manipulations, and for training in manual choking and strangulation techniques. They are sure to up your game.

Great Product. Highly recommend
These are great grip trainers. They are not the intro level though. For these, you need a decent amount of grip strength to start with the 60 lb one. The 70 lb brown one is where I am now and it works great. Havenโt used the 80 lb one yet. I would recommend buying the others as well. They range from 30 to 50 and are good for developing pinch strength which I cannot do with this current set of 60-80 lbs. The other good thing about these is you can easily put one in your pocket if needed.

Grip this
I'm a bass guitar player and I've been doing some resistance training for a few months so I wanted to increase my grip strength (insert joke here). I also read grip training can lower blood pressure, and I have familial heart disease concerns so that was a bonus. I got 3 of these deals and gave one away, put one in the car, and keep one by the laptop for when I play Civ 6. These things are great, do what you think they do, offer some decent resistance. I found that you can build up grip strength fairly quickly if you just make it part of your daily routine. I'm not looking to become the ultimate grip strength badass, but I can tell a difference when I play bass, everything just frets easier since my grip is stronger.

Seems to lose resistance semi-rapidly. But great and lightweight
Very good and thw progression is good, although they were a little light for me since i rock climb and my forearm strength is above avg but that's not what made me give it 4 stars. Obviously these are harder brand new out of the box, but they seem to be fading already. I haven't touches the 60lb one, only the 70 and 80, but now the 60lb is equal to the 80lb in difficulty. I hope this doesn't keep happening because i LOVE these. They're lightweight, won't tear up your pocket, and don't make any noise. They're a perfect replacement for the metal and spring ones and hope they last

Very good, but don't underestimate the difficulty!
According to a hand dynameter, I can grip about 120lbs on a bad day, and over 130lbs on a good day. So a reasonably strong grip, not outstanding or anything but definitely above average. But I still cannot fully squeeze the 80lb ring. I can really only reasonably rep out with the 60lb. I was just assuming I was going to start with the 80lb ring. I was wrong! Going to take some time to work up to that. Don't underestimate these things. I'm not sure if they read too low, or it's just such a different object to grip that it's more difficult. My hands measurements are sized as "large", meaning medium gloves are too small, x-large is too large. Someone with an x-large sized hand should have decreased difficulty. If your hand is medium, consider smaller or lighter rings. If you have small hands, I think these will be too large.

Just what I was looking for
These are exactly what I needed. As a slightly out of shape climber looking to get back in (my) top form, these are perfect. The multiple resistance levels seem to be a great way to build (or rebuild) strength pretty quickly. The 60# ring is also a great warm up for finger pickin'. A few notes: These are pretty stout. If you are just starting from scratch, you might want to start with something a little lighter and then move up to these as you build strength. They do seem to soften up a little with use; either that or they work really fast... I could barely compress the 80# when I first got them, but now I can almost "crush" it. Don't forget to exercise your extensor muscles as well. A nice heavy rubber band works great for this, or just do it isometrically by trying to extend your fingers backwards as far as you can and hold it until you feel the burn in the top of your forearm; repeat. Can't really speak to durability, but so far, so good.

Convennient, but poor consistency and longevity
I bought the same pack two years ago and all of them have been squeezed to pieces by now. They do work for stringing grips and are convenient to carry and fidget with. However, they do not maintain a consistent resistance and will crack within months of use. After cracking, they can still be used if you are careful to align the cracks with directions of compression rather than tension. I ordered a new pack last month and they are still of the same quality. For those that desire longevity, I would recommend the spring coil type. The photo I included shows the comparison between the broken old and the new versions.

These grip exercisers are an excellent way to regain and maintain hand strength that may ...
I work on the computer on a regular basis now. Over the last year or so, by the end of the day, I notice some strength and dexterity loss. These grip exercisers are an excellent way to regain and maintain hand strength that may be lost with sedentary work. Quality is very good. I suspect that over time the quality will degrade with not only use, but material degradation. These are easily stored and take up little space to keep at a desk. I decided to try these over the spring-loaded type of grip exercisers, simply due to size and storage. I use them at least once a day for 5-10, but I would recommend more often as time allows or scheduled time is planned. I highly recommend these if you are looking to strengthen your hands.

Amazing quality. As soon as I opened the package
Amazing quality. As soon as I opened the package, I just felt they would last very long time, even life time. Soft whole silicon and not sticky at all. no unpleasant smell. I am stronger than average for a woman but I can only squeeze the 60lb one about 5 ~ 7 times at once. I tried the 30 lb, which is quite squish. But if you do it about dozens of times continuously, you need rest. But pinching is very difficult even with 30lb.

Good forearm workout!
Excellent product! I am an experienced trainer, and this is challenging. The only caveat I would make is that this set is not for beginners....but a good product giving a good workout!

Very well made and comfortable to use and hold
I plan on purchasing the 30-50lb set as soon as it's back in stock on Amazon UK. Two things worth noting. Firstly, there will be no mention of the free ebook included in the box with the grippers, but don't worry. Iron Crush will manually send you an email with the PDF attached, on the day the grippers arrive in the post. Second, this particular set (60-80lbs) is not an ideal starter set for beginners. I can fully crush the 60lb one but I'm nowhere close to being able to pinch or extend it. If your new to grip training, it might be worth buying the 30-50lb set first.
