Great investment for healthy treats
My dog loves these and they keep her entertained. I wish they were less expensive, but it does seem to be long lasting. I have refilled and reused them many times and they still look brand new. Compared to what a bag of decent quality treats cost, it's worth it to know I'm giving her healthy, human-grade treats. I have bought 3 now, which works well as one is usually empty, one is lost under the furniture and one is still in the freezer ready to go. The smaller sized treat is plenty big for my 30 lb, big eater, destructive chewer. I fill them with a combination of whatever I have on hand, including mashed bananas, peanut butter, cottage or cream cheese, plain Greek yogurt, rolled oats, or unsweetened applesauce and freeze. I haven't come up with a combination she won't eat yet. It sometimes leaks out the hole a little, but not too bad if I tilt it right in the freezer. I highly recommend if you have a pampered pooch or are concerned about the ingredients in commercial dog treats.

Best toy
My dog really enjoys this toy, especially when I fill it with treats or food. It keeps her busy and gives her something to work on instead of just eating everything immediately. It’s also easy to clean and feels very durable. Definitely a fun enrichment toy that we’ll keep using.

My 2 labs LOVE this style of treat holder, fill it up with layers, easy to work, great!!
I have two labs who normally aren't into treat toys, or treats of any kind for that matter! But my girl has been extra hungry and unsettled lately due to some medication so I have been filling treat toys(Kongs) for her to help her belly feel better and to help her focus for awhile on something pleasant. My boy however, doesn't care to work that style. I have various sizes and he just doesn't care to go much beyond the opening. Too complicated? I happened to see this Toppl in a dog enrichment group and thought that it would be perfect for him. I was right! The Toppl has some grooves to stick food and is wide open on top which makes it easy for my boy to work on. There is a small hole on the side for sticking a treat in, or when combined with another Toppl (I have the large half, so I would have to buy separately the smaller half for it to become a puzzle toy) it becomes a hole for treats to fall out from. We aren't interested in that style of puzzle treat toy, so I just purchased two of the large ends- one for each of my labs. The material is firm yet a little squishy, definitely more pliable than any of the Kongs. I don't have dogs that try to tear apart stuff, so I have no worries on the durability of this item. As always, observe your doggo to see how they interact with a new item- watch them, let them know this isn't to be chewed apart. For filling, I used a combination of various textured food. I spread, sprinkled, layered, and stuffed. Some food items I like to use include: unsweetened plain apple sauce, 100% pumpkin puree, berries, plain no fat Greek yogurt, some kibble, sometimes treats, sometimes canned dog food, pieces of meat, cottage cheese, assortment of baby food (meats, veg, fruit- whatever is dog friendly- makes for perfectly portioned variety to use for this purpose). Not all at once :) Then I either just give it to them, or put it into fridge to firm up, or into freezer to make it a little more challenging and longer lasting to work on. I have a general idea on calories as I want to maintain my dogs weight. I must say this has been a game changer in our household. I can finally make a nice treat toy and both of my labs will enjoy it. It was just a matter of finding a style that both both intriguing. I will likely pick up a couple more so I can prepare them all ahead of time. The Kong still has its place- my girl doesn't mind it, but the Toppl is something that they both love and I love that my boy now has something to get excited about too. I saw some reviews that stated they thought it was two pieces they were getting. Just to clarify- one portion is the order. Two sizes available. Small and Large. If you are looking to make it into a dispensing/locking toy- you must purchase two halves, and they have to be one of each size- the large and the small. Not two larges, not two smalls. But one large and one small.

Great toy!
Initially I bought the medium size toy and my dog wasn't too interested. It was pretty easy for her to clean it out and she'd get bored pretty quick. I bought the larger version which completes the set and really makes the toy and she loves it. Having a German shepherd I should have just gone with the larger size to begin with but I'm glad I didn't because I think I would have settled with just that. She really does enjoy the large size one on its own for anyone considering just one but I'd highly recommend getting the set. I can fill the toy up with treats of all different sizes which was a problem I had with other toys like the Kong tumbler. If I didn't have the specific treat it would fall out easyily. Filling the two toys up and sticking them together is easy and really gives her a challenge that keeps her occupied and is really rewarding. Once she cleans them out she plays with the larger version a fair amount but she's still not pressed by the medium size one. These toys are pretty durable however my dog can chew aggressively I don't consider her an aggressive chewer. If your dog is an aggressive chewer I would leave the toy with them unattended. My previous dogs would definitely have chipped away at this thing if I left them alone with it for a long time unattended.

Great distractor!
Love this thing! It entertains my doggo and keeps her occupied for a good while licking whatever I've frozen in there. If you read through reviews on here you can find lots of suggestions of what people put in them. Yogurt, cottage cheese, peanut butter, blueberries, mango chunks, 100% pure pumpkin puree, watermelon chunks, etc. etc. it's always a combo of multiple things, and I always add water to it to make it last longer and also so it's not just solid food. Make sure you put the stopper in first and then start filling it up. I can't speak to the chew resistance as my dog hasn't tried to chew it. But she loves these things so much! I have two but am going to order a couple more so I can more easily fill several at a time and don't have to deal with saving left over pumpkin puree but making sure I use it all within a couple days. I'd much rather do several of these, a lickipot, and some woof molds and bing bam boom, use up the whole can of the puree. Also thanks for offering a blue and yellow color so dogs can see them! So often toys are colors they can't see as well, so I'm so glad to have the blue and yellow options! Thanks for making fantastic products, west paw!

Great product - try this if Kong doesn’t work!
My dog didn’t do well with the Kong so we were suggested to try this - I’m glad we did!!! It enriches and keeps him clam when it’s kennel time at night, and he licks it clean! We put it in the dishwasher and it cleans great. We put treats in the bottom and smear the top with peanut butter and it’s all gone by the morning. He is also a heavy tour and has not torn this apart. It seems very durable. Our only issue has nothing to do with the product – our dog is a hoarder and a burrier and after using it for weeks the way he should, he now carries it around to bury it somewhere, so it has been lost. But it’s almost worth getting another one if I knew he wouldn’t stash it away somewhere!

These are the best!!
My puppy is a chewer and I used the Kong for when he was teething, which was great when he was small, but now he's 30 lbs and is an aggressive chewer, so these only worked for about 5 minutes. I found out about WEST PAW Zogoflex, so I decided it wouldn't hurt to try it. I gave it to my labradoodle about 30 minutes ago (got the small and large and connected them, liked them better separated) and he is still chewing it! These are great for morning, because puppies get the zoomies when they first get up, so having something to keep him occupied while I get ready for the day has been wonderful. I know that this will tire him out so he's ready for his morning nap. If your dog is an aggressive chewer or a puppy that is teething, get these and apply peanut butter, applesauce, and bananas, then freeze. (plug the bottom with a small treat) Take out after a few hours. Their gums will get the relief they want and your pup will have something to keep them busy. You won't be sorry!

Toppl Fan
My dogs absolutely LOVE their toppls. Some of these “boredom buster” toys can be tricky for dogs to get all the treats out and can lead to frustrated pooches. I have 2 German Shorthair Pointers, large dogs, powerful but not extreme chewers. The toppls so far have stood up well to being chewed. My dogs are always supervised though when using these. I like to line the toppls inside with goat yogurt, primula cheese or peanut butter, then stuff with treats and freeze. Only negative is that these are rather expensive in my opinion. They are however very good quality and my dogs enjoy getting the food out of them.

Super!
Epais et costaud.Sa taille et les picots au fond permettent de fourrer le jouet comme un pot de léchage mais avec une petite difficulté en plus.

Great design, perfect for pups who struggle with a Kong.
Love this product - and so does our dog :) He's always struggled to get much out of a Kong, so we don't really bother with it anymore. (he's a 4 year old, 70 lb Coonhound/Shepherd mix). He would leave too much food inside, and it was a bit of a pain to clean. Then, I saw the Toppl! The best part is the open-ended design, it's so much easier for him to actually get the food out. So far, we've filled it with a mix of rice, chicken and crushed up kibble with some water to make a paste, then filled the toppl and popped it in the freezer. It's great for him to busy himself on a hot day, and it holds a bit more than what he would normally eat as a meal (we got a Large size). Perfect! He likes to play with it a little too, once it's empty. It's easy to clean, and seems to be pretty durable. Also love that it can be recycled once we are done with it! Would highly recommend.
