Sleep Mask - Eye Mask and Ear Plugs - Black

I love these masks - this is the third one I've bought. One for myself, one for my gf and another for my teenage daughter. They are soft, packable, comfortable, and priced well. I hate it when masks are big and bulky- or too flimsy. I also dislike the stiff ones. This is just right. It's very soft and plushy with an adjustable band. It has sort of a "bolster" type design around each eye, so it holds the fabric off your actual eyes, but keeps the light out. Very comfy, and does not mess up your eye make up if you are using during the day or for travel. It also tucks into its own little bag and comes with earplugs. I looked for the "perfect" sleep mask for awhile- finally found it. Quick shipping and great price too.

I've worn this mask for several weeks now. It is very dark with the mask on and has really helped me sleep. A very small amount of light gets in through the nose but the "nose flap" is a great improvement over masks without this feature. The velcro can be adjusted but doesn't grab onto to many things and stays in place when sleeping. I was actually quite surprised at how well the mask stayed on in the night, even when I'm sleeping on my side. It is very comfortable. The shaped material is very light and allows you to open your eyes when it's on. This has the additional benefit of not placing any pressure on your eyes while wearing it. If it were flat, it would be easier to sleep on your side, but the material seems to be flexible enough that I sleep on my side without discomfort. I have not worn the ear plugs. The bag is nice. I bought this product myself and am reviewing it of my own volition.

I purchased this sleep mask as a gift for my girlfriend. I had asked her to share her thoughts so I could provide greater accuracy to potential buyers. This review will paraphrase her thoughts but also reflect my experience. Firstly, the mask seems well constructed. My girlfriend described the comfortability of this mask as "9.5/10" (subtracting .5 as the velcro would "pull at (my) hair.") She did say she would prefer the velcro to a continuous elastic-based strap fearing that it would stretch over time. She was pleased that there was little to no light leaking (she has a smaller frame body for those thinking about fit). She was impressed that she could open her eyes and not feel confined, as the mask contours to comfortably hug the orbital bone sparing direct compression over the eye itself. She wore this mask consistently for over 2 months before it was inadvertently washed with the sheets. I deduct one star here but really more like half a star but that's not an option. As noted by other reviewers, it cannot be washed (even once by mistake) in the clothes washer. Otherwise, i am satisfied with the product. I actually purchased a replacement and will be extra careful to avoid washing it. Didn't receive anything for this review. Just figured I'd pass it on that this was worth the money.

This mask is very comfy and I love how I can open my eyes while it is on, and it is still as pitch black as when my eyes are closed, which tells me just how much it blocks the light. The nose piece is designed very well also, keeps the mask from sliding and also from smashing my nasal canal. With how form fitting it it, it covers all areas where light could possibly sneak in. The only thing I found displeasing was the smell of glue. I am not sure if there is glue somewhere inside the material or if it is somehow from the packaging or factory, but hopefully the smell will go away.

Works as expected. Great quality, and price. Stands off of your eyes so you barely know it is there. I never thought i would be able to use one, this is great. Originally bought one for my wife and she loved it! We thought we had lost it so we quickly bought another one. To my benefit, we found the old one the day the new one arrived. So... the old one became mine. Comfortable, not hot, blocks 99% to 100% of the light but does not interfere with your eyelashes. Really a good product. Have not used the ear plugs or the carrying case, so no info on those items. I'm sure it would be beneficial for someone else.

Good for the price, but nowhere near as good as the memory foam sleep mask from Tempurpedic. Bad: - No memory padding around the nose, which - at least in my case - leads to quite a bit of light leaking in around the nose (may depend on individual facial morphology). The Tempurpedic mask does not let any light through anywhere. - A little thin. Good: - The strap has velcro to open/close it and the adjustment works well. - Does not touch your closed eyelids, so you can blink without a problem beneath the mask.

THE best sleep mask that I've ever worn. It's soft and comfortable; the little nose bridge keeps out and additional light; the Velcro eliminates the elastic that would otherwise stretch out (it's how my others would wear out and die). The one new twist? The eye part does not touch your eyes. You can wear this on the plane/train on your way to an event with eye makeup and it won't disturb it. Best feature of all? It's pitch black when you put this on. Of course, you have to make a tiny adjustment on the nose part to eliminate all light, but once you get the hang of it, you put it on right the first time.

Love the mask shape and softness except except for TWO bad design flaws (which most I've seen have). 1. The velcro attachment should not be in the back, where you lie your head, because the bump of the closure is uncomfortable on your head, especially if you sleep on your back. Also, I'd wake up with some of my hair tangled in part of the velcro. The velcro should attach on the front side of the mask where the eye pocket starts or where the band is sewn onto, as no one sleeps on their eyes and it's rare hair will get tangled on the sides. I replaced the velcro with a stretchy band that I had sewn on and that was much more comfortable. 2. The other flaw, after owning this mask for a year, the material layers start to separate. This mask is NOT sewn together, but appears to be glued in layers. Now I have to buy more masks, unless I sew all round the edges of the mask to keep the layers together. Otherwise, no light comes in and the shaping of the mask fits snugly. Don't like the ear plugs, too long and too narrow at the ends, my ear canals are not that long and narrow. I do much better with my favorite even barreled shaped foam ear plugs by "Quiet Please." I am shocked at how designers of things are so clueless as to the practicality of their products. Do they not try them out before selling them? I see most if not all of the masks sold, have a thick velcro closure on the back of the head (and say you can sleep on your back) and the mask material seems to start separating. No mention either if it is washable. The two photos I've taken are one where I've replaced the velcro strap with a stretchy strap and sewn it at the front side of the mask. Which is where these mask makers should sew the attachment/adjustable velcro, since we don't sleep on our face. The other picture is how it is separating. They need to just sew along the edge of the mask to secure it from separating!

I'm a student and I have flatmate who goes to sleep very late. Since he's on computer long into the night, I had troubles falling asleep, because the room was too bright. I decided to buy this mask and it's exactly what I needed. It blocks light almost completely and it's not too big nor too small. Plus the earplugs are working perfectly, so I don't hear anything. Now I have no troubles falling asleep. This product is worth 100% of the money it costs. 10/10

I don't sleep well at all on planes and have a long haul coming up in a few weeks. In the past I've struggled with the usual eye masks as they're never quite comfortable enough for me to sleep without having to fiddle with them, and they never quite block out all the light. I came across this one and liked the idea of having the mask raised off your eyes and thought I'd give it a go. I read claims that it blocked out all light but was skeptical as they never fit perfectly around your nose. I thought I'd try it out at home to see how I got on with it and I was surprised at how comfy it was. The adjustable elastic velcro strap meant it fitted me or my husband really well (no more baggy elastic and slipping masks) and we tried it's light blocking ability by turning the living room lights up & down and putting the mask on. I found it blocked 100% of the light and couldn't tell when the lights had switched off as the moulded shape fitted me perfectly. My husband had a cold at the time and couldn't quite get the mask in a comfy position around his nose but said it was really effective compared to others he had tried. I used it that night and although it took a little getting used to as I sleep on my side so I was leaning on one of the eye 'lumps' but a quick adjustment easily fixed this and I've worn it several times already. The idea of it not pressing against your eye lids is genious, and I even found when I was woken by the binmen I could open my eyes fully and as it blocked out all the light I quickly went back to sleep. Really comfy, I'd highly recommend if you find traditional masks fiddly and uncomfortableuncomfortable. My husband has even asked me to order him one which means it must be good!

This blacks out everything and fits perfectly and comfortably. Put on at 5 am when it starts getting light outside and now can sleep in. Use on car trips when wife drives. Love it!
