Cheap for a reasonable Sennheiser
For the price this is a great little microphone I have used a lot. I'm used to a very old EW300 G3 which I adore, you need to jack the volume up to get noise from these, but they have a really nice low end drive. Very clear, but looses pickup for me at the higher notes (Male singer). The metal case has always been my fav as the weight gives a sense of quality when using it, also more durable.

Very good sound recording but a bit quiet
Volume is a bit low but the sound quality is really good. I use it to record my acoustic guitar. It’s nice quality and robust.

Awesome mic for the money!!! Highly recommend!
I wasn't sure what to expect with this cheaper mic, BUT it has surprised me on many levels. I actually bought it for smaller solo or combo gigs, but I may replace my Shure SM58's with these. Sound quality is fantastic and well worth the month!!!

重厚な質感とクリアな高音域
当方、コロナ禍のテレワークを契機にあれこれマイクを購入しはじめた初心者。だが親父の影響でSansuiのアンプやTEACのオープンリールをいじりながら育ったこともあり、マイク沼にはまるのにさほど時間はかからなかった。 購入するマイクはDTMなどの用途ではなく、せいぜいYouTube配信やWEB会議などのライトな使い方のみ。 コンデンサーのクリアな音質に憧れ、オーテクAT2020や中華製品などをしばらく使っていた。しかしその多くがサイドアドレスタイプで、口元に近づければ近づけるほどPCの画面が見えにくいことに気付きはじめた。ならばと20センチも離せば、今度は外部音を拾い出し、どうも案配が良くない。 そこでハンドヘルドのダイナミックをいくつか購入した。XM8500やSM58など、配信にオススメと言われる機種を使ってみた。だが元々コンデンサーのクリアさを求めていたため、それらは低音域のこもりの点で不満だった。話し声を波形で見ても、明らかに200〜300Hzあたりが強くなっている。 SENNHEISER社の製品はPC7というヘッドセットのみ所持していたが、保有するマイク類の中でこれだけ中高音域の抜けが好みだったこともあり本機を購入。 まず、ボディの質感に感激した。中身が詰まっている感があり、触っただけでメカ好きの心を捉える。 音質はコンデンサーに近く、中高音域が気持ちよく駆け上がる。当方のようなバス系の声質にはとても良い。そして口元に近付けて話しても吹かれがほとんどない。これはボーカルマイクとしては大きなアドバンテージだ。 スイッチはスライド式。ヌルっという感覚でオンオフ時のノイズはほぼない。 外箱にはmade in chinaと小さく書かれてあった。ドイツ製を謳う同社Eシリーズとの決定的な違いはこれだろう。まぁ、同社の厳しい目で品質管理されているのだろうし、価格のメリットを享受できるのだから問題なし。 追記 感染対策を施した上で、200人参加のリアル社内会議を行った。司会役として、会場に備え付けられていたSM58と、持ち込んだ本機を何気に使い分けた。終了後、本機を使用した時間帯の声の通りが良かった、との評価を複数人から得た。
