SMPL. Glass Screen Protector for Apple iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 8 Plus, Tempered Glass Film, 2-Pack

I bought the 2-pack of screen protectors for an iPhone 8 Plus. It was super-easy to install because the plastic guide/frame they include fits perfectly onto the front of the phone. Snaps securely into place! Once that's on, simply clean the screen with the included materials, then peel the cover off the glass protector and drop it into place. I've installed about 40 screen protectors onto phones over the years – including protectors that came with guides/frames – and this was the easiest so far to apply.

I was shocked at the ease in which this screen protector was to install. Make sure you do all the pre cleaning, then just line it up and set it on you phone. Waaa laaaa! It attached itself. It was pretty cool to watch. The only thing left to do was to seal the edges. 5 stars!

Edited to add: after putting in screensaver my phone dropped on its face and my screen cracked!! The screensaver was fine except for a couple chips on the edge but THIS DID NOT protect my screen. I have had multiple screen protectors that have always cracked before my screen . I’m so disappointed my screen cracked as I JUST got it fixed and thought this product would protect it! I have tried a lot of screen protectors and I can easily say this is the EASIEST and best one I have tried. It comes with cleaning cloths both wet and dry, and a dust sticker to help you put it on a clean dust free screen. After cleaning , You put the plastic frame on your phone and peel the plastic off and you basically line up one end of the frame and drop it on your phone - you can’t mess up. ( as long as your phone is dust free) it comes with a second glass cover in case you mess up. This is easy enough for my child to do. If you found this review helpful please click the button below. This is my second time making this purchase. I bought the first one when I had my new samsung. If I have to buy another screen protector, I would buy this same one again. Easy to install the screen protector on my own too. Plus I am able to make it spot clean and bubble free too.

I always have trouble installing screen protectors so I thought I would give these a try since they are a little different than what I usually use. The applicator definitely made a difference. This was easy to install but I had a hard time getting the bubbles out. It wasn’t any worse or any better than all the others. I didn’t like that one drop of my phone caused this to crack so easy. Thank goodness this was a two pack. I can usually drop my phone in the house a few times before it cracks. I guess it hit just right this time. This screen protector did protect my phone from the fall so it definitely served its purpose and the price is pretty comparable to others like this. The box that this comes in is a really nice touch. I will probably order this brand again because the applicator made this installation a snap. I hope this review helps you with your decision to purchase.

I got my kids new iPhones for Christmas and wanted them protected.. before they got them! I ordered the 2 pack and it was so easy to use, no guessing where the glass had to go, the cover you put over was an amazing guide! I would buy these again

The Good: Application is super easy. The nifty frame that comes with these glass screen protectors allows perfectly centered application. One press of the glass and it adheres itself magically with minimal need for pressing out bubbles. The directions for applying the protective glass are fairly simple, although it isn't absolutely clear which side to adhere to the phone; and how to use the blue lint remover (which looks like a sticker but isn't) was not explained at all. I am pleased that the glass seems to wipe clean easily and doesn't smear from face makeup. The Bad: I was ready to give this product 4.5-5 stars if the protective glass hadn't cracked within two weeks of use. I use a phone cover that is like a wallet, so there's an added layer of protection with the leather cover over the glass. I have no clue as to how the glass screen protector cracked. My guess is that my keys might have bumped the glass or a bit of grit pressed onto the protective layer, causing a tiny divot, and the glass screen protector cracked from that, all the way across. I can't feel a ridge along the crack, and it's barely visible, so I can continue to use the screen protector. If the crack worsens or new ones develop, I will add to this review. While the Gadget Guard Black Ice brand of screen protector I used previous to this one smeared easily, it did not crack even with a few divots and lasted for more than a year (before I used the wallet cover). It also came with a free replacement. So I am bummed I removed it to try this product, which I received for free in exchange for this review. However, I'll keep the handy frame that came with this SMPL product to aid in applying future tempered glass screen protectors on my iPhone.
