Have a broken leg and wearing a cast??
This even up shoe extender was a life saver. I broke my leg and was in a cast for 6 weeks. The cast was thick on the bottom making my leg longer than the no cast leg. Walking is difficult when you have a longer leg due to the cast. With this strapped onto the sole of my tennis shoe I was able to walk safely and more level. This helped my hip and leg during PT and the healing stage. I highly recommend these if you are in a cast.

Ingenious idea, TERRIBLE EXECUTION
The media could not be loaded. My orthopedist was so pumped to give me a leg up while using my boot for FOUR months that he printed off a picture of Even Up on Amazon. I was blinded by his good looks then overwhelmed by this thoughtfulness. Doc gets 50 stars but this product gets a 1, for ingenuity. I wear a women's 6 and ordered a small, which fits sizes 6-8 (huge difference). The most impractical part of this product is when you’re finally haphazardly strapped in, excited to take a step, the rock hard foam doesn’t bend with the arch of your shoe and out pops your heel. Maybe my good foot is deformed as well? The best solution(s) to Even Up is to wear two orthopedic boots and look like a stormtrooper, or (if female), buy one of those chunky sneakers on Amazon. I love mine and they are the perfect height! Thanks Amazon!

Generally Helpful But Sizing Is Off
After a foot injury I needed to wear a walking boot. This left one leg far higher than the other and made it hard to walk. I ordered this product to help, which it did. However, the sizing wasn't great. I ordered based on my shoe size, but the rubber areas didn't really fit well because the shoe was too small to fit. I wear a women's size 6 and ordered the small. Since it didn't fit properly I couldn't bend my foot at all when walking with this on or the rubber parts would pop off my shoe. So, I kind of traded one issue for another. I had to walk with my foot flat all the time and couldn't walk anywhere near naturally since it kept popping off. Unfortunately it could have been a better experience if their sizing was labeled correctly. When you're already dealing with pain and a tough time getting around, you don't have time to fart around with returns so I had to keep it and make it work the best I could. My suggestion is that folks with shoe sizes at the smaller end of each size listed order down. Aside from the frustration of it not fitting as they said it would, it's a really useful product.

Got a boot on 1 foot? You need this
If you've just been given an air boot for a foot or ankle injury, you need this device. As a Pilates teacher, I've had to untangle many client imbalances created by uneven leg length while wearing a regular shoe on the uninjured foot. This device is reasonably priced, is easily installed and wore well. It did compress after a couple of weeks, so I added the second pad. I found it slipped off the shoe back more easily, so we used a zip tie to secure it the finger pull on the back of my sneaker. Highly recommend!

I can enjoy walking again
It was discovered during one of my doctors appointments in my early teenage years that one leg was an 1in shorter. It was recommended that I purchase special shoes so I could have a cobbler install a lift to compensate for shortage .The shoe's were ugly so I never followed up recommendation.Fast forward to today I discovered this lift while doing search on Amazon, wow what a difference it has made in my walking experience. The strange part is no one seems to notice I'm wearing it.

Tough to get on and off
I was using with gym shoes and tried to switch which pair of shoes I was using it on. This was pretty tough to get on and off my shoe and felt like my toes were being squished. Once on, it was also more difficult to get my foot into my shoe. It did help even out the height with the boot on the other foot though. It held up pretty well.
