Brabantia 119545 Kitchen Bin, Steel, Mineral Infinite Grey, 30 L

I never thought I'd be so excited about a bin, but I am! I would never spend more than £20 on a bin but you can feel the difference in quality with this product - the pedal feels sturdy and operates smoothly, the lid never hits the wall and closes softly. It really does prevent odours from seeping out which is a very important as I have an open plan kitchen/living room. It's also very easy to wipe clean.As the bin is always on show, it's nice that this one is aesthetically pleasing to look at! The bin bag is hidden and the matt finish prevents unsightly fingerprints. My guests have even commented on it because they are surprised at how sleek it is and it feels different to other bins when they use it.I would 100% recommend this bin to anyone who is unsure - your money will be well spent!

Brabantia are the Rolls Royce of bins, or so I've been told.What I liked about it is that it's an excellent design, really well built, and has a bucket inside that you can pull out with all your rubbish in and transport to the wheelie bin outside, then take the bag out of the bucket there. Never worry about a split binbag again! The lid is robust and satisfying to open and close.The downsides: you really should use the right binbags. Brabantia sell them, they have drawstrings, and are awesomes, but there are "compatible" ones too. Similar deal... cheaper. I mean, you can just use regular binbags, but they need a bit more effort to place and fold over the top of the bucket thing, lest they pop out of the sides of the bin (around the lid) once you've put the top back on.But put it this way. Look around in shops, nurseies, offices. They use Branbantia bins like this. Why? Durable, reliable, easily cleaned: a good product.

Love this bin! Got it at a great price through Amazon Warehouse Deals and don't have a single complaint. It's gorgeous (which is weird to say about a bin), easy to operate, and has the perfect capacity for my two-person household to take out rubbish once a week. The inner bucket is very helpful and we use the Brabantia special bin liners. They do cost a bit more, but fit so much better and eliminate the hassle of trying to stuff a normal liner in neatly.

Beautiful. I can't believe I'm saying that a bin is beautiful, but it such an elegant shape. It fits neatly against my kitchen cabinets due to the flat back. It closes silently. It has a net black fabric handle for moving the bin around, which seems to be well balanced because even when the bin is full I can move it easily. The pedal is a sort of matt metal which doesn't show marks straight away.I bought the Brabantia size G bags which fit perfectly. The bin has green handles (coloured codes to match the bag size, I understand), which make lifting the inner container out to replace the bag a doddle. You can prop up the lid by hand when changing bags. I also bought the Brabantia 'perfume your bin' air freshener, which you stick to the lid. So far every thing works beautifully together. Well thought out, Brabantia!

This a a brilliant bin. It sits flat against the wall and takes up the minimum space but is wide emough for scraping plates and tipping scraps off chopping boards. It doesn’t go for walks across the floor either like my old small round Brabantia pedal bin. The smells are well sealed in, and no more clanky lid!It’s easy to move using the fabric type handle at the back.I struggled to work out how to prop the bin half way for bag changing. You just lift and push it tothe back. The bin bags fit well (it came with three or four). It is worth buying the Brabantia bags as they are stronger than most, and are an ok price if you bulk buy on Amazon.We bought the 30l in mineral blue. The size is just right, big enough to last 2/3 days but not so big that it gets left too long and goes really smelly and foul. A good height for opening and getting rubbish without bits scattering on the floor. My disabled partner finds it much easier to use than our old one.The mineral blue is very dark, more akin to a blue black, but my kitchen is gloomy, .the colour may show more in a lovely bright kitchen.Expensive but since my small Brabantia bin lasted twenty odd years, I’m sure this one will do the same.

Brilliant bin, easy to empty, plenty of space. Looks good. Would have given 5 stars but it is a bit expensive!

This is the 2nd Brabantia bin I have purchased as they are such good quality. The 1st one lasted years and Brabantia even give you a new lid if your one breaks within 10 years! I replaced my old one as I wanted a black one and it was a bit dented, but it was still going strong after 15 years!! I prefer the flat lid to the slanted one as it opens and looks better. I don't buy the Brabantia bin bags, I just use a normal black bag in these and they work fine. If you want a great looking bin that lasts and lasts, get one of these!

Excellent bin! Adds a touch of pink to your kitchen and it works very good. It has a silent closing so you don't have to worry about making that horrible noise when using bin. Also the inside removable bin makes it easy to clean and hides bin liner. I love it!

I should give it five stars! The reason I give four stars because there's a small bump about 2 x 2 inches on the cover. The shop should check it over before they sent! I paid delivery for it to deliver to Hong Kong. Just don't want to return it since it's far away.

Love how stylish this trash can looks in my kitchen. It is sturdy and the half moon shape is space saving. Very happy with my purchase.

Super und sehr edler Mülleimer, sehr geräumig, auch "normale" 50 l Mülltüten passen gut rein und sind von außen nicht zu sehen, auch voll sind sie gut zu entnehmen, praktische Griffe am Inneneimer.. Der Deckel schließt sehr leise. Sehr gute Verarbeitung und schnelle Lieferung. Nicht gerade billig, macht aber wirklich was her. Hatte schon Badeimer von Brabantia und wurde auch diesmal nicht enttäuscht.

Compré esta papelera, ya que es el único modelo de Brabantia que puedes o bien abrir la tapa con el pedal, y se cierra automáticamente al quitar el pie. O bien abrir manualmente, y se queda la tapa fija. A nosotros nos resulta muy cómodo que se quede fija cuando vaciamos los residuos del aspirador, vaciando los platos después de comer... Hay que tener en cuenta que al ser de 30 litros, si llenas la bolsa con residuos que pesen mucho corres el riesgo de que se rompa. Estéticamente es muy bonita en blanco y visualmente no pesa y ocupa poco espacio para lo grande que es, por su forma.

Livraison plus rapide que prévu. Merci Brabantia d’avoir revu l’emballage car le couvercle est très bien protégé. Jolie couleur anthracite. L’aspect mat me plaît énormément. Forme idéalement adaptée devant un mur. Design tout en étant discrète. Je possède déjà la même forme en 40 l et impeccable depuis 10 ans, mais ouverture avec poussée sur le couvercle (pour tri des déchets secs). J’hésitais pour le système à pédale du modèle 30 litres, mais celui-ci s’avère confortable et efficace.Échantillon livré de 3 sacs avec lien coulissant taille 46x74. Les sacs Brabantia sont TB mais blancs, je vais préférer les sacs compatibles noirs de supermarché, même s’ils ne se voient pas couvercle fermé. Le couvercle peut rester ouvert si ouverture manuelle et ne touche pas le mur.Seul bémol, le prix est élevé pour une poubelle, mais j’espère qu’elle va durer très longtemps comme toutes les Brabantia.Je recommande fortement.
