I was expecting advice on pre/post activity meals, balances of nutrients, recipes, etc. for vegan athletes, but this was short and basically said eat your greens.

Informative look at nutrition and fitness
As a wellness coach, I am always looking for new ways to increase endurance through things other than supplements. This book discusses how a plant-based diet and eating clean, unprocessed food can impact your athletic performance and increase your metabolism. Although a brief book, author Paul Rogers provides a ton of useful information, with the science to back it up.One popular misconception is regarding protein for athletes. There is a section in this book that looks at how bad animal protein can be for athletes. As Rogers writes, humans do not have the enzymes necessary to break down and digest animal-based protein and raw meats. Digesting clean, unprocessed foods can both preserve energy and speed up the digestion process.If you are an athlete looking for an added edge or just someone who is looking to become more fit, this is a great book to download. Well-written, to-the-point, and well-organized, I found it to be extremely helpful for myself and my clients.
