A gift for granddaughter who loves the moon and stars. She loves it! I thought it was a little pricey, until I saw ALL that came with this beginner's telescope. It is really nice and my granddaughter likes that it doesn't look like a little kids' telescope.

Wow! For a beginner this telescope has alot to offer. The instructions are not simplified for a young beginner to follow... somethings have to be interpreted by the pictures. The attachments are impressive and make sky exploration exciting. There are some questionable fragile plastic parts but nothing broke during assembly.

Excellent purchase. Easy setup, great quality, reasonable price. Would highly recommend.Although this is advertised as a kids’ telescope, it’s also a great telescope for adults. 4-year-old kid and 40-something-year-old dad have a blast together viewing the moon, stars, and planets with this telescope each evening. This activity has become a fun and exciting part of our nightly bedtime routine!Bonus: This telescope is very attractive (doesn’t look like a child’s telescope at all), so we’ve incorporated it into our living room decor. It looks quite nice standing next to the grand piano, right in front of a large window looking out at the starry sky.

I was surprised to find that the spotting scope on the telescope worked pretty well. For a 6-year old grandson, that’s huge. I had to leave before the moon was gone from the sky, so we could seriously look for less bright, smaller objects. I will schedule my next visit to (hopefully) encounter better viewing conditions.

It was a gift for my grandson. He lives out of state but I was told that he really liked it.

The mirror inside the telescope is broken. I don't have the box but I have the bag it is in. Can I send it all back and get anew telescope?

We love this! We immediately took it out and started looking at the moon. Super easy to assemble, and the carrying case makes it easy to take on short camping trips!

I am beyond disappointed, the first telescope I ordered came in a damaged box with clearly used and damage products in the inside. I requested a return which was easily handled. A new telescope came (somehow I managed to convince my son to hold off from assembling it Christmas day, it was his gift from Santa), I inspected the package everything looked great and brand new unlike the first package, however as I was removing the lens protection caps and broken mirror glass fell everywhere. Considering how great the package appeared and in good condition, this just tells me the manufacturing of the product is poor and it is not just a result of shipping. It’s just such a shame that his number one request for Christmas became his number one disappointment.
