The Sharper Image ESI-P302 Chill Portable Audio Dock

I bought this awhile ago but just started using it this week (9-8-2014) and the remote doesn't work very well, the volume doesn't adjust very well and there are no indicators to let me know how high the volume is. It is way below what I expected a Sharper Image product to be and I wish I had never bought it!I have a different brand that I have had for a few years and it is so much better than this one. I have not been able to find another one like it so I thought I would try this one. BIG MISTAKE. HUGE!!!!

Plays good. I use it to play bird sounds from a bird app. Gets the wild birds fired up, they think there is an invader in there yard. Only thing. You have to fiddle with it to dock the phone in.

If you are like me, you want a nice speaker for your phone, but you hate the thought of paying a ton of money for one. If that describes you, look no further. I bought this speaker 4 years ago at Bed, Bath & Beyond for something like $20-25 (I don't remember exactly). I did not expect much out of it, but I wanted a speaker to keep in my room that would charge my phone at night. As most people, I no longer have an Iphone 4S (or anything that takes the larger charging plug), so I have to use an Aux cord for my speaker, but IT STILL WORKS GREAT! This little speaker has been through 5 different moves, dropped dozens of times, has a huge dent in the front, and still works like a charm. The sound quality is excellent. Yes, the battery no longer holds a charge on its own, but it works just fine while plugged in. Again, this is from 4 years of use and dozens of drops, I would not expect a $20 speaker (now, $40, I guess) to last so long. If you want an extremely reliable speaker with excellent sound quality for a very affordable price, BUY THIS SPEAKER! You won't regret it

The features of this speaker system is excellent and it integrates perfectly with the iPhone 4S. The included remote is very handy as well. However, the iPhone will not fit into the connection cradle if you use a protective case. I use a very thin and basic Case Mate and it does not fit at all. Personally, I find it to be too much of a hassle to take the case on and off when I am using this speaker system. I have a simpler iPhone speaker with an adjustable cradle that is much more convenient.I had to reluctantly return this one. I really wanted to keep this but it was not worth the trouble with the iPhone case issue.
