Genuine GM 12477414 Seat Back Latch, Rear

Hard to find original parts for my vehicle at this point, but this fit exactly right, was the perfect color, and easy to install. And MUCH cheaper than the dealer!

Fit our 2004 Chevy Suburban perfectly. Kids busted the ones that came with the vehicle. Husband was able to install them easily. The one that is on the back of the small fold down seat on the passenger side was a tiny bit tight, but he was able to get it in with the smack of a rubber mallet.

Perfect fit in my 2000 Suburban and easy install. I used a butterknife to push the clips on the old latch in (I broke them in the process, by pushing in too hard, but it was fine, just made it easier to remove). Then pulled out the old latch, and pushed the new one in. It was really simple.

The clip broke off on my 2005gmc yukon xl. Likely due to many years of high summer heat. These replacements work perfectly and took less than five minutes to install. No skill at all required for the install. Two tabs wich can be manipulated with a very thin screwdriver or barrow putty knife. Don't use your favorite pocketknife, just enough torque needed to break the tip of a thin blade.

This item is a perfect match for my 2003 Yukon XL. No instructions come with the part, however there are simple clips on the top and bottom of the part. So I got 2 flat head screw drivers, and carefully pushed one between the top of the part and the seat cloth until I heard the clip click. Leave that screwdriver in place, and then repeat the process on the bottom of the part, then the entire part can be popped out of the seat back. To install the new part, simple orient correctly and push in firmly, making sure the top and bottom clips click. Good as new.

Tried off brand they they didn’t fit or work right. These are perfect! Open up the holder and they will click right into place.

Item worked as expected.

So easy to install. Took about 10 min total from getting a flat head screw driver to closing the door after install. Fit perfect in our 2001 suburban.
