EDIT: LOVING these socks more and more! GREATEST socks to wear around the house or with slippers. SO WARM AND COMFY. MUCH better than any fluffy synthetic socks or slipper socks that make your feet feel sweaty. These BREATHE much better. These seemed perfect for my needs COST - Got on a Lightning Deal for under 7.50 total delivered for FIVE pairs. Yay Prime. COMFORT - they keep feet warmer and drying, being mostly of wool and cotton, then the really fluffy synthetic socks. TEXTURE/FEEL - ok no they are not FLUFFY, but most of those types of socks are all synthetic or maybe part cotton. I liked these wooly type socks. NOT SCRATCHY, PLENTY SOFT FOR ME AND WARM. NICE WOOL/COTTON/POLY BLEND which are hard to find, ESPECIALLY at a great price. SIZE: I wear an 8.5. AFTER washing (and I DID wash in cold and dry on low), these are perfect, not too big or too small. There is some stretch, but I don't know how they would be if you wore above a 9. Also I don't pull them up, I kind of do what I do with slouch socks and push them down around my ankles, just more comfy for me and work better with my sweat pants that have elastic around ankles. WASHING - I WASHED first (I always wash clothes and linens before using). Some reviews said changed after washing. Well, I washed in cold on delicate setting in a delicates bag and dried on low heat. I also used fabric softener. THEY CAME OUT GREAT. COLORS - I chose the DARK COLORS as I wear with my darker sweats and almost exclusively indoors and to sleep in in colder temps. LOVE these colors. If you wear darker colors and don't like prints, I think you would like these. QUALITY - SO FAR, SO GOOD. If they start wearing too soon or anything changes, I will UPDATE right away. CONS: None that I can tell so far. Just if you want the really FLUFFY type of socks, you probably won't like these. If you're looking for a warm, cozy, wooly winter sock, you might want to give them a try.

This is one of my favorite purchases from Amazon. I saw something online where someone recommended these, and I went to find these in some neutral colors that I could wear daily. I bought one pack so I can try them out, and I'll be going back to get more. I have very small feet, and a size 5 to 9 it's just a tiny bit big because I wear a size 5. The socks are so comfortable that I cannot believe I forgot to take them off and I fell asleep in them. They're excellent quality and perfect for wearing in boots on cold snowy days. They are pretty good thickness keep my feet warm all day and night. I can't begin to tell you how happy I am that I bought these. Get up and order these now because you will not regret this purchase. And because there wool, they don't even make my feet sweat!

I'm always apprehensive when I order socks online because "XL" appears to differ in size between different manufacturers. I took a chance on these based on the size chart in the listing that showed size L-XL would fit foot size 14-16. This time I was lucky. The socks fit my size 15's comfortably and snugly. I wear these when I'm in the house. They don't overheat when the temperature is very high and they keep my feet moderately warm when it gets cold. They are excellent all-around socks. The knitting is very well done and consistent. The toe ends don't have any annoying bumps or seam stitching. They stay up on my calf. I don't have to continually pull them up during the day like I do with some other socks. The ribbing on the cuff is firm and does leave a noticeable indentation in my calf after wearing them for several hours but that doesn't make them feel tight or uncomfortable, and the impression disappears after a short time when I take the socks off. I was a little worried after I washed them for the first time. Just looking at them, it appeared they had shrunk significantly. It was so noticeable, I took a comparison photo of the washed pair next to a new pair. Another interesting effect of washing that first time was that the thickness of the socks almost doubled, even though the length decreased. Then came the surprise. When I put the washed pair on after the wash (and the photo), they stretched out easily and fit just like they did before the wash. The second photo shows the washed sock on my right foot and a new unwashed on my left foot. It doesn't feel like the washing made the cuffs any tighter. What a relief. I'll be buying more of these. The Amazon listing shows a nice selection of colors. After seeing these, my adult daughter asked me to order a set for her (in a different color).

I bought these socks for myself but shared two pairs of them with my sister and one pair with a great friend. We love them! My sister wants more! They keep our feet warm and dry. They seem to have a better grip on the floor when walking in the house with no shoes on. I gave my sister and friend the prettiest colors and kept the darker ones for myself because I will walk outside on the carport in them and regular socks get stained. They are very soft and warm! My sister thought that wool socks wouldn’t be this soft. Will be buying them again. Great price for 5 pairs of socks!

Socks are soft enough and not too tight on around the ankles and are fairly warm. Only gave three stars because the product was open upon arrival and missing two of the pairs of socks. Not going to return for a refund because its just not worth the effort and the product itself is fine.

Awesome socks and can be used in a few seasons. I'm wearing them now in spring and they are great. I also wore them in my boots in the winter and they are warm and comfy and don't stand out when you take your shoes off.
