Adult Lifetime Coarse, Certified Organic Non-GMO 1lb

I've been using this bord food for over 15 years. My hybrid blue and gold macaw is absolutely beautiful and in his best health.

Harrison's Bird Foods are one of my go-to rotations of my bird's foods. I learned years ago, for all my pets, to vary their diets in case of recalls, nutritional inadequacies, & to help avoid picky eaters. Harrison's has a high rating for their food for palatability, nutrition & healthiness. The food is just one color, no variety, but my birds all like it & readily eat it when it comes up in their food rotation. I will feed this as only food if I think one is not quite feeling well (adding warm water to encourage them to eat). The package, when kept closed tightly, retains the freshness well. I highly recommend Harrison's Bird Food at least for part of your birds diet (of course dependent on species).

Our Eclectus parrots like these parrots and seem to be prospering. We supplement it with plenty of fruits and vegetables but no seeds.

African Grey's are picky eaters. One day they like something the next NO WAY! This food has stayed with him, and he does like it when it is given. Good product, just wish it weren't so pricey.

It's better than anything else on the market as far as I've researched, other than just feeding fresh foods. I feed my conure organic fruits and vegetables whenever I eat them, I've had him for almost a year now and since I made the switch to all organic I wanted to make the switch for him too. It has some good stuff but I don't like that is has synthetic vitamins, but it's still much better compared to other bird feed. I won't eat any synthetic vitamins myself and only eat ones derived from actual food, so anyone else aware of this might take it into consideration. He was angry at first when I gave it to him, I mixed some in with his regular food and he began making a funny screaming noise and tossing them out of his bowl. They are very hard, so I have to hammer them into smaller pieces to make him interested in them. Overall I know they are much better than the pet store seed I was giving him and he seems a lot more curious and happier since I started feeding him organic fruits and vegetables so I have a feeling this is going to add to that. It's also a really big bag, I can't get mine to press shut again so I just fold it and clip it and store it in the fridge. Edit: It's been a couple months and I don't have to hammer them down anymore, he just eats them. He seems to like them a lot. He throws them off his cage, I see him do it sometimes, and it took me until I saw him throw one off and have my dog come running to eat it off the floor to realize where the discarded ones were going lol. I'll keep buying these now that I know my conure is happy with them.

we love Harrisons. However, Amazon recently has decided just to chuck our orders on top of the mailbox ( near a busy road) or on the street and mark it is a safe location despite our clear instructions. We love our Harrison's but seriously considering buying else where if you can't be sure Amazon won't deliver it to your door. This stuff is more expensive that the food we eat but it it worth it.

Have used Harrisons for years! ONLY PROBLEM is they keep shipping wrong product!

C'était pour un gris, qui n'aimait rien à part ses graines, et il m'a surpris à aimer les decortiquer comme des friandises :o Un bon point donc, puisque ces extrudés d'une marque bien connue et réputée (son prix aussi) sont équilibrés du point de vue apports indispensables (vitamines etc). Et il en mange tous les jours un peu (pepper coarse ou Adult Lifetime Coarse : il n' a pas l'air de préférer l'un à l'autre) A tester, mais extrudés en tout cas de très bonne qualité nutritionnelle et qui semblent appréciés note : coarse signifie que ce sont les grosses croquettes, de la taille d'une grosse noisette Pratique pour prendre dans sa patte pour depiauter. L'incovnient est que des mini bout ont tendance à sauter un peu autour quand il les mange, mais bon c'est sec et bien plus facile à nettoyer que d'autres aliments (et ca me permet de ne plus donner systématiquement des vitamines pour compléter son alimentation jusque là trop déséquilibrée).
