‘Fun, sexy and fabulously festive’ Jane Costello Running out on your wedding shouldn’t be this much fun! A remote Scottish castle on a snowy Christmas Eve. A handsome husband-to-be. A dress to die for. It should have been the happiest day of Leah Harvey’s life – but the fairytale wedding turns sour when she finds her fiancé halfway up the bridesmaid’s skirt just hours before the ceremony! Fleeing the scene in a blizzard, Leah ends up stranded at the nearest cottage, where she collapses into the arms of its inhabitant – a man so handsome she thinks she must have died and gone to heaven! And when Rob Cavelli suddenly finds himself with an armful of soaking wet, freezing cold, and absolutely gorgeous bride on the run, he’s more than happy to welcome her into his snowbound cottage this Christmas… ‘Superb…like a fabulous breath of fresh air and I fell in love with the warm, witty, sexy writing style from the very first page’ Holly Martin

Super cute
This one is super cute. You follow the story between a woman who's run out on her husband at the alter and ends up trekking to a remote cabin after her car dies. The cabin includes an adorable man who's hiding out from a past hurt. The story has a more positive spin which is nice for the holidays. This a romance novel with sex, but it's just the right amount. If you love books like this, you won't be disappointed. It's a fast read and definitely worth adding to your read list.

A Cute (and Predictable) Christmas Read
A very cute Christmas read for those of us that just want a feel-good, predictable story to enjoy for a few hours. I felt the characters were fairly one-dimensional, and the plot plodded on far too long, but there were very sweet and Christmas-y moments that were very fun to read. If you don't mind lots of unnecessary arguments, people keeping secrets that would, if they just said it, avoid pages and pages of annoying drama that serves no purpose other than to add a few extra pages to the total, than you will probably enjoy this one. Even though it was predictable, it was still a fun read.

Great story!
If I could give it 10 stars I would! I absolutely loved it! It was fun to watch Leah react to Rob at the cottage and Rob trying his best to avoid his reaction to her. It was also sad to watch Rob try to destroy himself in Chicago while Leah tried to let him go and establish herself. I really enjoyed this book and was sad when I finished it.

A lot of darkness and angst in this story, but if you're into that kind of thing....then go for it!
This story was sort of a mixed bag; at least for me. I loved the starting point of this novel; a bride running away from her own wedding around Christmas time, ending up stranded in a blizzard, knocking on the door of a seemingly deserted cottage, where she finds the handsome brooding man of her dreams. And I actually loved the playfulness between Rob and Leah while they were stilll in Scotland, but after they flew back to Chicago....not so much. I thought Rob became such a selfish, rude Jerk! Sure he had his guilt, but that doesn't mean that gives him the right to treat people so callusly. After all; He's the one who talked Leah into leaving her Country behind after an extrodinary night of sex, but the minute they step on that plane he treats her like a total stranger, and it only got worse as the days went on. And all those mixed signals he gave her??? What the heck was that? He tells her to leave, and then when he finds out that's what she's planning to do he goes bezerk and practically rapes her, then a few short hours later....and this is after he finds out she's been sufffering her own demons...he piles it on by telling her she's nothing more to him then a cheap lay and it would be better for him if she leaves. But Leah isn't the only one he treats like that. He also treated his own mother and twin brother very badly throughout this whole story, too. It's all about him and his needs. WHAT A TOTAL JERK!!!! Why she took him back is way beyond me. This book was filled with so many raw emotions, and angst throughtout this who story.I sort of liked the mother feisty attitude, and I also loved his twin brother, Marco. I would have loved to read more about those two, as well as Rick...the person she went out with and shared many of laughs. The only reason I'm giving this story a 4 star rating is because the author made me feel such rage, and IMO- it's the mark of a good author.... when they can get their readers to feel such strong emotions, while reading one of their books.

Happy Endings are the Best!
My first read from Debbie Johnson and I enjoyed this very much. I was so happy that you made the character of Leah Harvey loving, spunky, and strong. She was definitely her own person and although she loved with all her heart, she stayed true to herself in giving up the love of her life for a little someone that would soon become a very important part of her life. A quick read with romance abound.

Not enough story
After reading Christmas at the Comfort Food Cafe, which I thoroughly enjoyed, I ordered Cold Feet at Christmas expecting an equally good book for Christmas. I'm about one-fourth into the book and can't seem to get past the wild physical attractions of the main characters to each other and their desire for great sex. I keep waiting for a story to develop. I've skipped many pages and have no difficulty in figuring out what was on unread pages.

A lovely, lovely story
I didn’t think I would take to this because it was too ‘descriptive’ for my liking at first. However, as I read further it seemed appropriate and “Pretty Woman” sprang to mind! I laughed, I cried, I worried, I just wanted to hug them and be with them. Will probably even read it again.

Funny and Hot!
Very funny I love Leah! She cracks me up sometimes and I like very much Rob Cavelli too!Not very much Christmassy in my opinion but I enjoyed the different scenarios and the characters background.I would definitely suggest if you need some sexy action as well.

Enjoyable read
Didn’t have much to do with Christmas, but nonetheless it was still an enjoyable read with spicy parts and some drama to keep you engaged. I enjoyed it and will be reading more by this author!
