Is it worth the money U spent?
First day testing out the head light, I will update later after extended usage later. I put in battery & turned on, it works with different settings. Straps are adjustable and works good. I have a small head so I was worried it may not fit my head. Not cheaply made. Strong straps, brightness is good and usb connection is good.Negative and improvements:1)The trap can come off at the head lamp part of the unit. Needs something to stop the strap from coming off where the frame notches are when not in use. Be careful when picking up the head strap light.2) The cover for the cable on the headlamp is not tight fitting. Dust and dirt can get inside unit. I put a tiny piece electrical tape to hold cover in place.3) The instructions are ok but it would be helpful to know when charging that the red light will turn green when fully charged. If I got a million things charging its easy to spot what has finished charging. Some charger blink, some turn green, some lights turn off and so on .....4) This head lamp is 8.3oz, it's heavy after a while.5) For the price, I think it's not worth more then what I paid for it, witch I got for 2 $ off original price.

The flash/strobe mode is part of the turn the light "off" sequence!
I really dislike strobe modes built into flashlights, unless they use a separate switch to engage them. In normal mode with this light you must go through the strobe mode to turn it off!To explain, the main switch has two "modes".First it's on/on/on/off switch. In this mode it goes: Bright/Less Bright/Strobe/Off.This means that if you use this button normally it always goes through strobe mode when you press it to turn off the light. This is highly irritating (I think). In its second mode you hold the main switch down for three seconds. The indicator that this mode is "on" is when the rear light turns blue. However, the front light does not turn on until you wave your hand in front of the light. The motion distance on mine is set to 6-8".When the front light is turned on the rear light splits into a red light on the left side of the lens and a blue on the right. The best feature here is that if the main button is now pressed the light turns off without going through the strobe.Note that if you use the motion sensor to turn off the main light the rear light will stay lit, draining the battery over time.In summary, if you need to use this light over the length of a muli-hour project and need to turn it off and on frequently, then use the 3 second sensor setting and simply wave in front of your face to turn it off/on. The rear light uses little energy. At the end of your project simply press the main switch to turn it off fully.I really wish the strobe function was a separate switch so it wouldn't normally engage at all.

Warning "Lithium Battery exploded out of the blue"
This is a legit report/concern. I loved this headlamp as I used to feed my animals during early morning, but it need to be reported as a hazard. Last night at 2 am, as I was sleeping the lithium battery explored, it sent debris at least 3 foot away (front and left side), black powder, nasty smoke smell. It was loud to the point all my dogs started barking. Lucky for me, the lamp was on top of my couch so the explosion was on top of me and my dogs. Just imagine if that battery busted while I was wearing outside doing farm chores at night. This is very scary, I cant believe it.Glenda DanielVirginia

GRAB THIS NOW! My new favorite headlamp! I LOVE the "sensor" feature!
At the special price I paid ($10.19) I was so happy to see it INCLUDED the batteries. GRAB THIS WHILE YOU CAN!This is like my 8th headlamp. I've wasted my time with ones with multiple lights, ones that support an external charger with a proprietary jack...PROS: THE HANDSFREE MODE! This is GREAT! Imagine soldering, or gluing, or painting, etc etc. A wave of your hand and you switch it on/off! My new favorite headlamp!BRIGHT light in mode 1, less intense "work" mode 2 to save batteries.FOCUSABLE lamp.CONS: Still has the damn flashing light mode. Seriously. What percentage of use does this mode get that you have to cycle through it *every time* you use the thing? Make this a mode you get when you hold down the button for 15 seconds!Micro-USB plug. This is OK, but everyone is switching over to USB-C. I'll look forward to that change...And with being that picky, I just ordered another one!

Heavy duty and works great but missing a feature that I'd like to see
This thing is BRIGHT. And rechargeable which is awesome. With it being LED it should last a while and it's also adjustable. I'm stoked to use this on a night hike or working around my house. The thing it's missing, an option for RED light. The LED has 2 brightness settings and a strobe setting. I'm sure the strobe could be useful for an emergency but red light would be awesome for night time hiking. White light is good for illumination but the blue light stimulates your brain into being awake. If you need to go the bathroom in the middle of the night then the bright blue light will wake you up. Something seemingly small but I think would have been easy to fix.

Well worth the money
It comes with 2 rechargable batteries. Very bright focusable beam of white/bluish light, and it swivels to adjust the angle, and has tension adjusters on the headstraps, as well as an-over the top head strap so you don't squeeze your brains out, and can fit over caps. Very bright beam that you can adjust the size of. Great functional task light for general use for very little money. Yes it is cheaply made. Yes the straps can come out easily. But easily remedied with some hot glue.Would I mountain climb, spelunk, or scuba dive with it? NO. Is it waterproof? No Would I trust it to not burn down my house using the built in recharger? No. If you have a better battery charger for these batteries, use that instead.
