However, there is an underlying interconnected conflict that plays a major part in all the books and for that reason, I highly recommend reading the books sequentially. This is my third time reading the work of Alanea Alder and I'm officially hooked! OMG, Alder's books are like potato chips; you can't stop with just one! lol... I love unique paranormal romance, addicted to danger, action, adventure & suspense, completely smitten with sexy, alpha heroes, adore sassy, courageous heroines, and there's nothing I enjoy more than a few few-bending plot twists and an infusion of laugh-out-loud humor, but when I can get it all in one well-crafted and beautifully written book, I'm in absolute heaven! And that's exactly what Alanea Alder delivered - AGAIN - in My Healer, the third full-length paranormal romance in her captivating and highly imaginative Bewitched & Bewildered Series. Did I like this book? No, I LOVED it! Would I recommend it? You bet, and I am but only for adult readers since it does contain explicit language, some violence, and steamy, dreamy sex. Will I read this author again? Absolutely which is probably the best recommendation I can give! As a matter of fact, after completing the first book of this series, I raced back to Amazon and purchased the remaining nine books, which speaks volumes as to how much I enjoyed this author's work! And finally, was I entertained? Completely! I was glued to my chair, white-knuckling my ereader, my heart fluttering wildly in my chest as the pages flew as quickly as the pages! I fell in love with handsome, loyal, and always charming wolf shifter Colton, and the lovely, kindhearted, dedicated human doctor Rheia and her adopted shifter daughter Penny truly captured my heart! Oh my, this story just ripped my heart out of my chest! I snickered, snorted, sniffled, snuffled, chuckled, and outright ugly cried through the entire story! But never fear, Colton, Rheia, and Penny do get their happy ending! But just a little warning, folks, don't start this book unless you have plenty of time; you will not want to stop until you reach the last page. I should know; I stayed up all night because I couldn't stop reading! lol... If you enjoy perilous danger, intense drama, agonizing angst, pulse-pounding action, nail-biting suspense, side-splitting humor, heartwarming romance, and a few mind-blowing plot twists that you'll never see coming, then this book is screaming your name. Book 3 in the Bewitched and Bewildered series is just as wonderful as the first two! My Healer is about Colton Albright (a wolf shifter) and Rheia Bradley (human). Colton is the jokester of the Alpha Unit in the paranormal city of Lycaonia. Rheia is a surgeon in the human world who has an adopted daughter, Penny. Colton and Rheia are both having the same nightmares. Colton knows they are about his mate but Rheia is clueless until she describes the nightmares to her band of male paranormal friends whom she calls her brothers. They are a Vanguard Unit from Lycaonia. Once they realize that she is having these dreams, they send her to Lycaonia, knowing that she is a mate to someone there. The warriors of the Units in Lycaonia are not equipped for a little girl, yet they are all smitten with Penny and are soon wrapped around her little finger. Colton falls hard not just for his mate but for his new daughter! It is sweet and hilarious to see how they manage. There are such funny moments when the warriors they have no clue how to deal with human mates and children. They go to the closest human town to speak with the owner of a convenient store named Bart. To the warriors, Bart is the all-knowing Oz. Lol! The citizens and the Units in Lycaonia are still being attacked by the ferals. They realize that something major is heading their way and need to keep up the patrols and the training. They seem to be focusing on Rheia and Penny. More questions arise, but, we have more answers in this book. This is a great series and book 3 does not disappoint! I look forward to the other books in the series. I hope there are many many more!

Liked the book. I have to admit that I didn't like it as much as I did the first two. I'll try to keep this brief, but here are my lists of likes/dislikes about the book. Likes: - Author does a great job drawing in the reader into the lives of the characters. - Great continuation of the overall plot of the series with some unexpected twists. - Book captures the readers attention and keeps it. - Great character backgrounds that allow the reader to understand what is going on in the book. Dislikes: - While Rehia feels instantly comfortable with Colton, as it seems to be with all mates no matter how newly found they are, it seems weird that she'd be willing to just up and leave Penny with people she doesn't really know. - Seems to follow the lines of every other book in how they meet. She just appears and, with little resistance, they start on their happily ever after.

My Healer is the third book in the Bewitched and Bewildered series. It has become one of my all time favorite series and this book just has added to my love for this series. I have loved Colton from the moment that he was introduced in book 1 of this series. I was so happy that he and Rheia found each other and that they had the added gift of their daughter Penny who you will fall head over heels for quickly. This book as is the case with the other two were superb. If you have seen my other reviews you know that prior to this series I was not really a paranormal fan. Well I can no longer say that at least as it pertains to this series because I love it so much. You must read this series in order because otherwise you will not get the full reading experience as you read. While each book focuses on a different couple, the underlying and ongoing storylines will not be truly appreciated by reading it out of order or by skipping any books. This series is so fantastic though you definitely want to read each book. A hot alpha shifter, sassy heroines, great characters and another great story make this a must read.

5 stars This series just keeps getting better and better. I loved this book Colton and Rheia's story was fantastic and Penny was just adorable. So you will know Colton if you have read the first 2 books in this series and this was a great story for him, I loved that he got a ready made daughter because it gave him a serious side that you don't see in the other books. I loved the introduction of Penny into this series and the effects it had on the men in the different units, by the end of the book Penny had also helped solve part of the puzzle regarding the ferals which was really interesting. There was also another scene in the human town shop with Bart whom the Alpha Unit go to advice for on human things and it was just hilarious it is definitely a visit that needs to happen in each book. This author is amazing the way she introduces new characters in each book and keeps the storyline going through each book and allows us as readers to see what's happening with all our other favourite characters is just phemonenal. I can't wait to see who's book will be next after reading this one I'm not quite sure if it will be Keelan or Darian but it will be fantastic. So if you haven't picked up a book in this series I advise you to and you should start at the beginning with My Commander because while this books are stand alones you will get a lot more out of each book if you read them in order!

Rheia, Penny and Colton are one of my favorite couples in this series. They are so honest and loving, you just have to like them. Like the other books there are a few funny incidents in the drug store with the humans, but most of the time the plot unravels with the ferals and gets more and more exciting... I love this series and can't wait to see where the story goes further.

Alanea has done it again with the third book of the Bewitched and Bewildered series. I would recommend reading books one and two, so you can get a better full story then just starting with this book. I loved this one just as much as I liked the first two in this series. I loved Colton- he is a laid back wolf shifter. He sounds so cute to me!!!!! He fell hard for his mate and her adopted daughter; Penny. Colton Albright is the comic relief in his Alpha Unit. He has been dreaming of his mate and when she shows up at his doorstep he is elated and anxious to begin their life together. He was not expecting her to have a daughter though and now he has to figure out how to be the perfect father. Rheia is a human with an adopted daughter that is paranormal. I thought she was pretty easy going considering all the changes that happened in her life in a short time about a year with having a daughter that is a shifter and then also having her own mate dreams. Rheia also knew about paranormal for a long time before when her father, her mother and herself kinda walked into a office that had one of the Vanguard males, healing. The vanguard are males sound so hot and yummy. Meryn will get a kick from this news, and i think you would like it. I would recommend this book to all paranormal lovers.

Love this quirky, action packed supernatural drama series ! Love Colton so glad he got his instant mate ! Would definitely recommend a read !
