Corona Tools Premium Stainless Steel ComfortGEL Garden Trowel – 13-1/2-Inch Heavy-Duty Hand Trowel for Digging, Planting & Transplanting

I have used Corona garden trowels for years. These products are far more costly than competitors, but well worth it. It digs like it is supposed to. More than that, these trowels are well-made and withstand the abuse I regularly subject them to. The scoop is sturdy and has never rusted despite being tossed aside, dirty and forgotten until the next time I need it. The handle grip is a fantastic concoction of cushiony comfort. Witchcraft, but so, so welcomed by someone with enough calluses, thank you very much! Purchasing again after more than a decade of (mis)use. So happy with this product and will buy again ... in the distant future.

I used these when I was in the business and I still use the one I bought 10 years ago. I bought this one as a gift for my neighbor and he loves it as well. My only regret is the one I bought for my neighbor is better than the one I have. These are worth a few extra dollars as the work well and they last.

So I'm a moron and I some how lost my original shovel of this design. I haven't felt worse in a very long. HOW COULD I HAVE DONE THAT? Mind you, I have another shovel but it just pales in comparison. Once you use this one, you'll never go back. The handle has a depression in it for your thumb. Simple and satisfying. There is a groove at the top of the metal for cutting cord, vines, etc. Genius! Then there are the measuring marks on the side. It's just a good idea. The price is also right. I ordered another shovel and I vow to not lose this one!! I feel complete now that it's living in the garden shed.

The item is actually pretty great to use. It was comfortable and lightweight. The problem was that it simply has a design flaw being made of two separate parts. Because of this, rather than the tool bending, the handle broke the weld to the blade clean off. I will admit to being a bit rough but it it and should have grabbed my garden knife to cut a root that was holding an existing plant in the ground, but I did expect a little bit of a "warning" bend before it breaking away after just a bit of resistance, signalling me to get the proper rool to complete the task. I still would recommend the product because I simply may have had come across a defective individual, rather than a complete carton of product being faulty. When I contacted the manufacturer to file a warranty claim, I did not receive a response back, so I had to go through with the very slow, but ultimately effective, Amazon chat agent service to get my warranty fulfilled.

Nice trowel, but be aware that it is not the same size as the aluminum and stainless transplanters. The premium is larger - it has a slightly chunkier handle and a wider, longer, more tapered blade. (See photo of premium transplanter next to stainless transplanter.)

As with other reviewers, mine broke at the weld as well. I purchased in September and it broke yesterday. I love this brand but this design is certainly flawed. Hopefully the company will stand by their product. Saddness.

I do a ton of transplanting with a large garden and needed more hand trowels as I never seem to be able to find one. Gave the Corona a try and I'm impressed with the sturdy construction and large blade. Good value for the price and should last for years, I'm very happy with the trowel.

After years of struggling with 'value' trowels, I splurged and purchased this one. Wow! What a difference. It is balanced, the edges are sharp for digging and the handle fits my hand well. It of excellent quality and will serve me well.

Well built and comfortable. Time will tell if it rusts but initial impression is that this tool is well built. Well designed handle.

La pala se siente firme y de muy buen material, la recomiendo ampliamente
