Great mat if you know what you are buying and what you want.
As with most other people, I will agree that this is a thin mat and can have punctures if its a direct hit with a dart. The only difference is, I knew what I was purchasing and did not expect it to be a thick rubber mat. I purchased this because of the surface material being soft along with the markings and throw lines. If you have wood floors, it will not always protect it so another layer of something would be helpful. We play in our socks etc and I wanted something to stand on that would not slide or allow us to slide around on the floor, looked nice and had some protective quality to it. This covered all of my needs. Also, customer service is great. They check in to make sure everything was delivered to you timely and there were no issues. If you want 100% floor protection, this is not a mat to be used by itself. But anything that covers that usually looks bulky and it as hard to stand on as hardwood floors.

Probably the best of all these overpriced dart mats but it's still overpriced for what you get
Pretty much any mat of this kind is only going to deserve half stars, but at least this one is nice quality (fairly dense material) and should significantly dampen any darts from hitting through to the hard floor beneath. Not cheap feeling like those pads made from rubber or whatever they use.Plus it has the Winmau logos to match the actual dart board and plenty of markings for different games of darts. So it looks pretty spiffy, as well. The only drawback (which virtually all of these share) is that they are still a bit too thin and about half as wide as they should be. Bounce outs do not always bounce straight from the board and some extra wide padding will be needed to guarantee safety of the darts and the [wood tile] floor.Overpriced and skimpy on materials? Yes, but this is probably the best one you will find, without making your own. If you bought 2 of these and set them next to each other, you'd have a proper sized mat, but I'm not paying almost two hundred for something that should be standard.

Looks good, doesn't protect well
I am using this on my hard wood floors and if a dart happens to bounce bad and land tip down, it will pierce the mat and stick in the floor. Would recommend putting thick padding under the mat for protection

Not for use on carpet
Not good on carpet, it wont stay in its place. Constantly have to reposition it against the wall even if very careful with how you walk on it.Could be ok on a solid surface possibly. It is very comfortable on your feet.

good product but I prefer the Jett carpeted mat.. cheaper and wider

It does the job.
It does the job as intended. The white lines get dirty very fast.
