The bed was easy to put together for one person. I didn't use their "tools". The only trouble I had was putting the legs on the headboard. They were a VERY tight fit. I am a little disappointed in the quality. But I will say that I am judging this by the fact that it cost me a weeks pay, so I guess for a weeks pay I was expecting a little more for my buck. The bed is almost a cream color. It had gold/brown fine scratches all over it, so I don't know if i was suppose to look that way of if they are actually scratches and rust. The bed came in 2 boxes and both boxes were packed very well. Over all I do like the bed. It is a little longer then a queen sized mattress, but it makes tucking the comforter & blankets in between the footboard & mattress easy.

The bed frame arrived quickly but when I opened the box it was missing the rails, slats, and support legs which was very upsetting so I immediately emailed the seller and they were very quick to respond. They explained that they should have let me know they are shipped separately but they usually arrived on the same day and informed me that the rails and other parts would arrive the next day, which they did. I gave this a 4 star rating because the slots you places the slats are welded to the rails with little care. One was already cracked at the seam and I cracked one trying to bolt the slat in like the directions say. I wasn't even using much force......... Regardless the bed looks beautiful, seems sturdy so far (even with the cracks), doesn't creak, and holds a lot of weight (including my 12" heavy memory foam mattress).

Beautiful bed. I was afraid to purchase, as some said it was lightweight. It is much lighter than my antique double bed frame, but it is so nice because it is much easier to move if needed. It is very sturdy though and just gorgeous. I am so glad I made the purchase. It was very easy to assemble...but would have been even easier with two people. It actually looks like an antique iron bed!

Takes a bit of work and 2 people to assemble. Sturdy but very creeky. Aesthetically very pretty but parts of bars came with minor discoloration. For the price, I think it's a good buy for my guest room.

We looked at dozens of different options for a stylish bed frame for our daughters bedroom. She loves this bed frame. It's sturdy and it was easy to put together for my husband. I can see this as being something that will last for decades. Definitely recommend and you will be sure to love it too!

This product was easy for one person to assemble and looks nice. Although it is a little flimsy, it seems to be holding up well and for what I paid, I consider it a good purchase. My bed fits perfectly and the simple design compliments my bedroom.

I'm a 30 year old female and I'm using this in my bedroom. I love it! It's sturdy and very nice. Looks a lot more expensive than it is! I'm not a fan of huge, wooden beds and this is very chic and simple. Highly recommend if you want something nice but don't have a lot of money to spend. High quality!

If I could give this bed 0 stars, I would. If you’re looking to throw away $300, look no further. I had this bed for 9 months before it broke. For the most part, 1 person of average weight slept in it. And yet one night when I got into bed, both metal supports snapped in half and the bed sank in. The warranty is only for 6 months, so I got no money back. As all the other reviews say, it’s an attractive bed. If you don’t plan on sleeping in it, it takes a nice photo. But if you are looking for longevity in a piece of furniture, look elsewhere
