Lotte Mixed Soda Japanese Hard Candy

Being in America, we don't really have unique candies like these in your average store. They were fizzy like Pop Rocks, but also very flavorful like Jolly Ranchers with a soda-like twist! I was pleasantly surprised and will be buying these again sometime :)

First and foremost, what you see is not exactly what you get.You get 5 flavors:Honey and lemon - It tastes like a honey and lemon tea, if it were in a vitamin flavor water, kind of like Sobe-Water, but better.C.C. Lemon - This is what I assume is a vitamin C beverage. It tastes of lemon and has a slight fizz. It reminds me of Sour Skittles but lasts the entire candy, not a coating.I have yet to try the cherry flavor, but my sister tried it and said it tasted like cherry. Go figure.Natchan - Orange juice. And a good one too, not like the watered-down stuff.Dekavita - This is the energy drink flavor. Tastes like Venom Black Mamba for those who have tried it, and has the same fizz as the C.C. Lemon. This is my favorite of the bunch.Definitely a good grab, and for this much, so worth.Only con is that it takes about 6-8 weeks to arrive, but it makes since when it is arriving from Japan.

Where do I begin? These candies are perfection. My original intent was to try them with my sister, at the same time for a video. That didn't work out as planned. As soon as I opened the envelope, I tried one of each before she even got home. Whoops. I was a big fan of everything but the CC Lemon and the Dekavita. I found them a bit weird tasting, but my little sister loves them. The ones I do like are amazing. They're fizzy and taste like unicorn tears. The bag was a bit smaller than I imagined, but I can't say I was surprised, due to the price.

Arrived a more than a week before the minimum estimated delivery time, which was a nice bonus. the candy so far is quite good, the taste of some is very Japanese(duh right), by that i mean that some like the lemon candy are a more subtle flavor than overpowering strong flavored american candies.The main reason i absolutely recommend this is because it cost less than $5, even if you end up not liking some of the candies the product cost less than the price of a fast food burger, and there is roughly 25(in my case 26) candies per bag and each are about the size of a normal peppermint mint, so this will last you some time most likely.In conclusion try something different and fun, buy this product because its a small taste of another culture that doesn't break the bank.

As with most international orders, they take a while to get to you. Shipping information also isn't provided as most of the transit time is in the air or over the water. I don't exactly remember when I ordered these, but I'd say it took about a month. I knew they were going to take a while, but they were actually delivered before the estimated date of January 4. Dates aside, these candies are a bit different than pictured. The flavors are indeed switched around so if I were to order these again, maybe the flavors would be different. It probably depends on the seller as well.For being cola candy, only one was fizzy, and that was the Dekava C flavor. It also happens to be my favorite flavor, and my least favorite being the honey lemon. Unlike American candy, these don't seem to stain my tounge with artificial coloring. It's either because they use different dyes or perhaps natural coloring, but I can't say for sure because the writing is all Japanese.The flavors are tasty though, and in my particular package I received lemon, honey lemon, orange, cherry, and whatever dekava C is. It tastes a bit like a mixture of orange and some other fruit, but I like it. The cherry and orange flavors are very sweet, but the lemon isn't as lemony as I was hoping. The honey lemon is, as I said before, my least favorite flavor.For these being 4 dollars a bag with free shipping, I wouldn't get them again. They're cheap, and if I liked them, I'd surely get them again, but they aren't cola-y enough like (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004SUESLU/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_6) another cola candy I got with these. I'll still be eating these though.

These candies are unbelievably yummy. Each one is a subtly different 'citrus' flavor. They taste *exactly* like the vending machine drinks they are based on. One of them even tastes effervescent, which is a super cool 'bubbling' feeling on your tongue! The candies are so satisfying that a bag will last you a while even if you have a sweet tooth like me. For the price it may seem a little on the expensive side considering the size of the bag and the number of candies you get in the bag, but considering how much a plane ticket is to Japan, these are well worth it.

These are yummy! I received them today I ordered 2! I finished an entire bag myself cause they are so good. I shared the 2nd bag with my husband and son. My son said they are so good I can't stop eating them (I had to take them away) I would order these again and probably will when I get paid!

I ordered these over other Japanese candies because of the amusing packaging. My bag contained a nice mixture of all flavors represented on the package. Bottled water flavor had my interest from the second I ripped open my box. It's a very light, pleasant and sweet citrus flavor, very fun. Warning for anyone unfamiliar with what the packaging represents, the short brown bottle is an energy drink flavor...not for everyone but my husband happened to love that one...it had a very slight effervescence you might miss if you weren't looking for it. My favorites were the orange drink or juice, odd since I DETEST artificial orange flavored candies. All in all a neat little candy to try, and I didn't feel put out by the price it was worth it just to experience them and I could see these making another appearance at our house.

These were very good and fun to try. Not sure how much they taste like actual Japanese soda, but the did taste good.

I loved these! From what I’ve read in other reviews the Dekavita Candy is cola flavour (I’ve tried it and I’m still not sure but it’s so good) and I also got lemon, honey and lemon, cherry and orange! The flavour is strong and enjoyable and each piece is individually wrapped so you can enjoy them at your leisure.I held a couple in my hand so you can get an idea of size. They are about average for hard candy and, at least in my opinion, were the perfect size.These are delicious and such good value (I got mine for under £4) so, if you’re curious, I would recommend giving them a go - you shouldn’t be disappointed!

Tasty candies! I like the orange flavoured one. You may not get exactly the flavours you see but they're all pretty good.
