Makes homemade tortillas so much quicker and easier
I love making tortillas at home using masa harina for things like tacos, as my wife has a gluten intolerance. Previously, I'd been rolling the dough between two sheets of baking paper and using a large cookie cutter to make relatively small tortillas. It worked, but it was time-consuming, messy and frustrating. I tried a tortilla press at a friend's house a few months ago and was amazed at how much easier it made the process. After doing a bit of research, the Victoria press seemed to be the go-to option for a good-quality press, so I decided to give it a try. I've now used it several times, and it makes the whole process much quicker, cleaner and easier. I simply use a plastic food bag cut down the sides between the plates, and the tortillas come away easily. The only minor drawback I've noticed is that the thickness can vary slightly from front to back, although it's not a significant issue. In terms of durability and value for money, only time will tell, but so far I'm very happy with it. It's made homemade tortillas a much more enjoyable process.

Sturdy, well made and easy to use.
The only thing that I would point to is that the description of the Tortilla press did not say that you needed to Line both sides of press with parchment or plastic. The information stated that the Tortilla press was seasoned which normally indicates that I would not need to line the surfaces of the press which is an irritation. But after my second tortilla, I got used to it and it makes beautiful round Tortilla shells with little effort. Great machine at a reasonable price.
