Holley 0-86670HB 670 CFM Ultra Street Avenger Carburetor

This review is for ordering this item through Amazon. Do not place an order for this item if you hope to get it.I placed the order for this item on Oct 23, 2013. At the time it said place an order now and it will ship in 1-3 Weeks. After placing the order it said Delivery Estimate Nov. 6 - Nov 20 2013.I noticed that the price was low compared to other prices and figured it would be worth the wait to get this price. I contacted Amazon, via Chat, regarding this item. I wanted to make sure it would deliver and that they wouldn't cancel it or anything like that. In the chat the lady said that she can confirm that the item will ship within that time period. (This chat happened within a week of ordering). I didn't want to wait the whole time and have the order cancelled.Nov 19, I call Amazon's customer service and inform them that if the item has not shipped I will not get it by the delivery estimate. They agreed and after talking to a couple of people they inform me that the item should be arriving at their fulfillment center that weekend.It did not arrive that weekend and they say they are having trouble locating the item and the manufacturer is out of stock.Today I called Holley before calling Amazon. 10 good in stock.I spoke with Amazon after an hour I find out that there is no way the person I originally chatted with or the person who told me it would be in on the weekend had access to this information. Both lied to me. I asked if he could at least confirm they ordered the item from Holley. He didn't have access to that info or a number that I could contact to find out. He said I could contact Holley and find out.I did. I called Holley after the conversation and they have 10 in stock and no standing orders to fill on this item. I think Amazon realizes they marked this price too low and do not want to honor it. They are trying to get me to cancel the item by making me wait and giving me false information.I would like this to be resolved but there is no one I can get a hold of at Amazon that can handle this.Hopefully, Amazon will see this and give me some sort of answer or help resolve this problem.
