IMS-1000 and IMS-4000 Systems Room Humidity Sensor IMS-4820 Monitor indoor humidity levels with your IMS-4000 Host or Node or IMS-1000 IMS-4000 Host or Node or IMS-1000. The IMS-4820 and IMS-4821 both connect to your Host or Node via RJ-45 patch cable (not included) to measure humidity levels from 0 to 100% RH. Since the sensor uses your existing Category-5 structured wiring system, no special wiring or schematics are needed for installation. Locate the sensor location preferred, attach the sensor to the wall, attach a standard patch cable, plug it into your patch panel and do the same in your server room to connect your sensor to the IMS-4000. Just like wiring up a workstation or a printer. Note: FGD sensors, accessories, etc. are not compatible with IMS-4000 systems Once connected, the IMS-4000 automatically recognizes the sensor installed and configures, using a standard template that you can modify.
