RFID Blocking Sleeves
These RFID blocking sleeves are fantastic to slide your credit cards into and any other type card that has a chip in it. My daughter suggested writing on the outside of each sleeve what card was in it - smart kid - now I don't have to pull out a bunch of cards to find the one that I want. They seem fairly durable too. Hubs has his in his wallet and they fit just fine. I have ordered a second pack of them since they are so inexpensive and I've given several away to friends. I haven't tried the passport sleeve yet but it seems to be as well constructed as the individual credit card sleeves. Besides having my credit cards and driver's license in their own individual sleeve, I also bought a wallet that is suppose the keep cards safe from anyone who illegally tries to read any data from them. I just like the double protection.

Blocked successfully!!!
I'm techy but some new tech I fear. My first card came in with the rfid chip imbedded. Tested these sleeves against the pay kiosk and it did not read like it should. Took it out of the sleeve, it beeped already and transaction completed before I could touch the wifi looking logo! Scary and convient! A simple bump from a stranger and they can siphon off your card just like that. "Sorry but thanks!" Did you know that your drivers license and passport have them as well. Check the back of your card for a wifi looking icon. So the blocking sleeves have a metallic aluminum foil like barrier, the one from the bank didn't and is not shielded. Same fiber paper on the outside. You can request from your bank for s new card to have it removed. But not your passport or license. Sleeve on left has no shield, the rest do.If you found my review helpful please vote "YES" as this helps me become a better reviewer! My reviews are my honest opinion and I'm not financially compensated for them. I received this product for a discounted price in exchange for an honest review. Should anything change as time progresses, I will update my review. Thanks.

It's like a thick foil and bends when trying to put ...
The problem with reviewing this is, I am not criminal and cannot know if it can read the chip or not through it since I don't have a reader to begin with. Am I safe? I don't know. All I can do is take the word of the company. So why didn't I give it 5 stars? Well, the main reason is using the sleeve is a pain in the behind. It's hard to get the card in and out of. It's like a thick foil and bends when trying to put the card in and taking the card out is so difficult! I sit there fighting with it while the cashier is ringing me up and hoping I win getting out the card before s/he gets done. And it doesn't fit wonderfully into the card slot in my billfold since my billfold carry's so many things in it. But I won't give it below 4 stars either because if it truly does block the chip being read by a chip reader, then the whole thing is worth it!In the tiny town I live in with very low crime, we've already been hit three times at big stores like Walmart, Target and the mall for chip reading thefts in parking lots. I, personally, have never had my information stolen. Then again, I only received my first card with a chip in it just 2 months ago and before placing it in my billfold bought a set of these for both myself and my husbands new chip card. To me the idea of the chip being so easily read means the cards are more easily hacked and what is the point of that? But that's about credit card companies and not the item being sold.I knew I wouldn't have a chipped card without a sleeve and so I hope this does all it claims in protecting our cards! I am very happy I bought a 10 pack even though we only have one card each with a chip in it because of how beat up mine is already becoming since my husband is generally loading the belt for the cashier while I get ready to pay. He hates fighting to get his card out worse than I do.

Don't believe the nattering nabobs - these work well and hold up well!
I bought this item some time ago and use it in a wallet. I have only used one from the packet so far and have had it in my wallet for over a month. I use it every day, sometimes several times a day. I have read all the one star reviews, and they were obviously written by people with no other purpose than to diss a product that they have either never used, or used improperly. This is a paper product. It will wear out over time. Big surprise...!!! The one I have used for over a month is showing wear (another great surprise) but it still largely intact. I think these are a generally better solution than the wallets sold for the same purpose. I like the wallet I carry and these are thin enough to fit easily, yet they protect well. This is an update. I have been using these since my last review and some we're just changed out for new, not because they had failed in any way, but to freshen my wallet. They were still intact after all these months. This is a great product and protects chip based cards much better than many wallets claiming to be scan proof. A good product that very much delivers on its promise.

Credit card RFID sleeve
I was fine and wasn't concerned at all with this RFID scare Until news alerts made me paranoid. I rarely go out. Googled. RFID theft can only be used on the new "chipped" cc's what were those companies thinking? That didn't take long to crack. Read can not be used on cards requiring a swipe or pin.But regardless I bought this set. The logo style seemed most pleasing, and could advertise your service commitment.#1 in Service. Nice.Rather than trying to put my cc's and Id's each in a sleeve. I just put a sleeve on each side of my wallet's pocket( I carry the Dyno-mighty, tyvek wallet sold here on Amazon) and a sleeve slides easily into each slot in the wallet, and can hold 6 cc's on each side( maybe more- I have 6 on each side, cc, Id, ins. ss, etc) closed, the RF sleeves forms a cover for all the cards. Not convinced? I took a sheet of aluminium foil, folded in half cut it to fit in sleeve, so gives an extra layer, a device strong enough to penetrate this barrier would probably give you a radiation burn.
