Levi'sMen's 501 Original Fit Jeans

Good fit, comfortable and worn in look, good delivery time quality product

Despite other reviewers supposedly spotting signs that these are fake I can confirm they are in fact genuine.The confusion I think stems from the fact that they are part of Levi's premium range and match exactly with Levis own web site. The premium range include strange details such as the capitals on the red tag ( copying their pre 1971 design), likewise the patch includes subtle differences which match an earlier generation of patch design. Don't worry if your red tag only has a circled r on it as apparently 1 in 100 pairs are made this way to copyright protect the red design.The fit is identical to my other 501s apart from maybe being a tad longer in the leg. The feel is a little strange due to the mix of fibers - softer than pure cotton but still as thick, and even though there is some elastene it doesn't have the unpleasant stretching of some jeans. If there is a fault it is that the jeans don't quute feel as natural as pure cotton. I gather the fiber mix helps the jeans keep their shape better ( stops bagging and shrinking)I would say that Amazon need to improve their description as when I ordered these it clearly stated they were 94% cotton. Only when looking again on my tablet did I see a description further down showing only 48% cotton . This second description did not even appear on my phone or desktop. Having said that I am still happy with the quality of these jeans.

Levi's have received widespread criticism in recent years for the quality of their jeans, which are a shadow of the heavyweight, hardwearing ones they produced decades ago. However, I have to admit that the last pair I bought were surprisingly comfortable and sturdy. Keen to purchase some in a different colour, I thought I would give these Key West Sky jeans a try.The pair I received are VERY lightweight compared to classic 501's, but they look fantastic (the worn/broken in appearance is a nice touch) and are incredibly comfortable, which is almost certainly down to the stretchy denim now being used. I believe that these jeans are particularly suitable for summer wear. As mentioned by other reviewers, they are darker than those in Amazon's pics, but will undoubtedly fade to a more pleasing tone with repeated washes.While they will definitely NOT last a decade like old classic Levi's, these jeans are still decent quality and should provide a few years wear with proper care. A worthwhile purchase if you can get them for under £50.

Firstly I love these jeans in every way they are comfortable and fit like a dream.However I totally get why they have so many mixed reviews.If you are looking for a traditional heavy weight rugged 501 then these are defiantly not for you!These are lightweight fairly thin denim that stretch a little to your fit but it makes them incredibly comfortable and they fit just perfectly whether you are walking sitting down or what ever activity you are doing.They probably won't last as long as traditional 501's but I bet you get a few years out of them.Note they are a little darker than the picture.

Good quality material, bit long in the leg (no 29 inch!) but apart from that a nice fut. Colour is great; you can never tell from the pictures but pleased with what came. Should last a few years.

I’ve lost a bit of weight recently and was worried that they would be too tight at the waist but too wide on the hips, but the stretch feature makes them fit perfect all over - very impressed and happy with them.

The description for this specific size and colour says:1) It is made in Turkey (The one I got is made in Poland; Polish quality is not good in textile industry)2) It is a pack of 8 (I got only one and now the description has been also changed and not a pack of 8 anymore)3) It is 100% cotton (This one is only 45% cotton)I have been told in John Lewis by Levis guy that Levis 501 are 100% cotton and straight regular fit, this one is tighter than the black one I got from John Lewis.I will have to return it!
