What is the grade of the magnet included in this kit and the composition of its outside coating?

Hi the grade of magnet is N52 and the magnet is coated with triple layer steel 😊

What happens when you find something to heavy to retrieve?

Good Question personally I would use some sort of mechanical advantage like a chain lever attach it to a tree or something solid then attach to the rope then hopefully you will have the power to pull it free.I hooe this helps 😊

Is it possible to buy just the magnet for less without all the crap?

Not at the moment we will be introducing the magnets by themselves in the near future😊

what is the diameter of the magnet?

Hi Kat That would be 3.7 inches 😊
