Exactly what I needed

Since the engineers at MB in their infinite wisdom decided not to use an engine oil dipstick what may help is this: although this is an accurate and durable TRANSMISSION fluid measuring dipstick, it can be used to check engine oil too. For the W-203 3.2L V-6 engine requiring 7.9 quarts, the perfect full line will be exactly 6.5” from the end of the black plastic tip up to the metal snake. Hope that helps for anyone looking to check their oil in addition to transmission fluid.

Works great for w211.. make sure u get the car to operating temps by driving 15-20 mins the least. Then check while the car is RUNNING!

I don't like that it was listed as a direct fit and it's just a generic Universal dipstick not Direct Fit

It’s a great tool to check the transmission fluid level on your 722.6 Mercedes-Benz transmission. I was doing full fluid flush and this dipstick helped fill it back up to the correct level. There are two marks on it - one to check the level when transmission is cold (25C) and the other when it’s warm (80C). Just make sure you follow your car’s manual. I would definitely recommend it.

It’s too long for my Benz … I guess if it sounds to good to be true it must no be real
