Super cute and great for all babies to do
Recommended for anyone having a baby. Super easy to do and a great memory to have. Perfect size great quality, and I love that. It comes with different options for the frame color.

So good I bought two
The frame/back:I love that this frame is a solid piece of wood (the part that holds the clay and pics). It makes moving it, after the impression has been made, easier, and I'm not worried about cracks showing up because of movement. The area that holds the clay is fairly deep and you get enough clay to fill it all nicely. It all feels very sturdy and high-quality. The front is actual glass, not a cheap plastic. The clay:I bought two and it seems like the clay was different. The first one had a whiter clay, felt a little bit dry but was workable. It dried with some wrinkles, but most of those wrinkles showed up when I did the impression (makes sense, the clay had to move somewhere) and just didn't smooth them out. The second time I bought this, the clay was a lot smoother and oilier. It dried a lot smoother as well, but I had also smoothed out the wrinkles that showed up after doing the impressions. This 2nd clay was off-white. I have to say I prefer the second clay much better, but both were good (I just needed to learn to smooth it out). The tools:The dowel that serves as a rolling pin is nearly the exact width of the frame that holds the clay, so it's easy to smooth out the clay without getting unsightly lines down the sides of your imprint (I bought a competitor's product and their dowel was about an inch and a half too short and created lines everytime I used it.. not good). The paint was the only low point, it came in a tiny container and was completely dry.Overall, I recommend this product. I had to put my pup to sleep (she was 15 years old, but still a pup to me), so I wanted to have something like this before she went "home" to rest. I'm glad I gave this item a try for a good keepsake with her paws on it. I bought a cheaper product that was very similar in function (an area for a print in clay, and two spaces for pictures), but the quality was abysmal. I can't make another one of these with my little dog, so the extra money to get the good frame that would last and be worthy of my amazing friend was well worth it.

Try these tips before starting this project
This is a cute project for when you bring your new baby home. Not going to lie, we struggled a bit with it. (No fault to the item, it’s just hard to work with a baby lol)• Try to complete this project while your baby is sleeping.• You have a limited amount of time to redo the prints since the mold can begin to dry out quickly.• Skip the hands - it’s hard to keep a baby’s fingers unclenched but the feet will work out perfect every time.• There’s not quite enough space for both hands and both feet. I’d recommend doing one of each or just hands/just feet. It looks like you can fit them all but once you include the matting in the frame, things get covered up.• Some of the letters would slide a bit creating gaps in the wrong places. Be mindful of this when you turn it over to press the letters into the model clay.• I recommend buying extra modeling clay (from Crayola) to make extra prints. I had some extra on hand that we used on our late dogs paw prints and we made a few extra baby prints since the other one didn’t turn out as perfectly as we had hoped. (The hand prints were pretty messy.)Enjoy!!

Great presentation for newborns
This is the second we bought since we loved our first one and we needed one for our second child. It is easy to use and the white color is neutral for the nursery.Only change I would make is a longer dowel to roll out the clay and a colon for time marking. I used a toothpick to add the dots by hand.

Esay to use, fun
I have changed the message on here a few times now. The plastic letters are easy to use and came with a variety of letters that fit easily into the felt board. Good quality and price!
