Ukulele Humidifier - Easy to Eliminate Fret & Wood Cracks (Silver)

I own several of these ukulele humidifiers. I soak them in distilled water every Sunday during the winter months. Each ukulele gets one, and I keep them zipped in their cases. They work very well.

I have lots of instruments that need humidifiers during the winter & this is the easiest of them all to rewet.I give 4 stars only because it is super hard to tell when it is dry.

It worked as described. Very happy with the product.

What does "sheerness" mean?Items work and can be easily be refilled in a cup of water but, as noted above, difficult to tell when they go dry. I ended up weighing them on a digital scale to see how much h2o they retained. They can draw up about 2gms, max every day. In Arizona it takes less than 24 hrs to dry one out from dripping wet to bone dry in a soft case. That's in my music room with a humidifier that uses 2 gallons of h2o/day and still struggles to keep the room at 25%Edit: I'm trying another commenter's instructions to soak for 30 minutes to see if I can draw up more than 2 gms. I may start thinking of these like re-chargable batteries. We'll see
