Zoobooks

I loved Zoo Books when I was a kid and now that my daughter is almost six and reading I ordered this subscription for her to enjoy too. The thing is I ordered it late December and now it’s the end of March and still no magazine. I’m super dissapointed in the delivery time. Amazon said March 12 was the expected date which was fine and I was prepared to wait for but we’re two weeks past that date now.Unless you are prepared to wait what seems like forever I would try to order Zoo Books from a different distributor.

Decades ago I bought this subscription for my kids. It was very informative and full of factual information. The quality of the physical magazine itself was so high, I still have many old issues left that my grandchildren enjoy. ZooBooks has been taken over by some other outfit and quality of information has plummeted. Just as the language in kids books has become simplified so too has the information in ZooBooks. It is no longer worth the high price that the ZooBooks of yore were. It is still good, just not great.

I ordered this subscription on October 30th 2017 and just got my kids first issue today January 9th 2018. My kids loved the book she sat with her mom and read the entire thing, this issue was about monkeys .It would be 5 stars if not for the shipping, seriously i mean i probably could have rode my bike to the publisher and back quicker

The magazines were great and my daughter loved them. It did take several weeks as noted in the description for them to start coming.But I thought this was a year subscription with 9 magazines but only got 3 magazines. Not a very good value for the price.UPDATE November 2017: Randomly started receiving these magazines again after another couple months. So have now received 6 magazines total. Will update again if status changes.

Ordered this Zoo magazine in April. Due to receive August 1 which seems very long. Still havent received and it is Aug 14. Was a bday gift for my grandchild. Very disappointing.

I reordered this magazine for my grandson's birthday. It was a favorite of my 4 sons and one I had in my classroom during the 40 years I taught third and fifth graders. For children who enjoy non-fiction reading about wild animals, it is an excellent magazine with beautiful pictures and diagrams and a lot of good information.

Our nephew loves getting these in the mail. I used to get them as a kid and since he likes animals I thought I would enjoy them too, and I was right! Great and educational!

Nice magazine but very brief. Expensive for what received.
